Why not just use a digital video camera? They can be pretty small and inexpensive. When you get home, do a little video editing. I'm sure your friends would be much more entertained to watch a video and actually get to see some of the things instead of just reading about them. You could also do voice over (while recording even). Nothing fancy. It's what most vacationers have done for a long time.
Don't do that "one thing" that makes you go blind. And while we're on the subject, stop looking at pron on the computer all day. That'll cut your screen-staring time down at least by 75%
The other annoying thing is that when I select some text to copy, then click on an input field to paste over the top of other text, the text that was already in the box gets selected and is what is now copied into this magick copy buffer thing. So i can't paste over the top of the old text. If i want to accomplish such a feat, I have to first delete everything in the field i'm going to paste into, then select the text i want to copy, then middle click into the text box.
hopefully the screens are side by side. then if the right game came along, you could just cross your eyes for some 3d graphics. oh wait, virtual boy.. nevermind.

Here's a nice one that generates html that can be submitted via a form. It can paste from MS Word and is very easy to use. It has built in image uploading capabilities. It's really a full on wysiwyg html editor that is web based. It currently only works under IE, however. FCKeditor
So ever buy that ram, cpu, mobo that is flakey and has hard to reproduce problems, and as soon as you take it back to the store and they test it, it works fine? Microwave it. It's not just for cd's and food.
If you ever come to Utah, you can visit such a place. It's called Hole N" The Rock. Quite the tourist attraction... It's a man made cave that's about 5,000 square feet. A man by the name of Albert carved it out of the rock by removing 50,000 cubic feet of sandstone. http://www.moab-utah.com/holeintherock/
So I just got done installing Suse 8.0 and while doing the online update, I decided to see what's new on slashdot. Guess what the first article I see is.
Not only that, but I can hookup my laptop with firewire directly to my desktop with firewire and (using WinXP) have a high speed tcp/ip network to copy large files.

Here's a thought provoking question. How many of you assumed Samus was a man before you found out the truth? Why did you assume that?

You'd think MS would be a registrar.
I was wondering what they meant by "Large Scale" until I read the FAQ and saw a pic of the goatse.cx guy. That's a little too large for me, thanks.

They just want to make sure they don't hire any SCO employees. Not hiring americans is just their way of making sure none of them get through.

Tell him to just go out with her. geez. He's got a chance to move up in the world by sleeping with the boss and he's passing it up?
Monkey Ball (1 & 2), Mario Party 4
I think it's meant to make the content look longer than it is so they can split it up into 50+ pages so that they can show more advertising.
I think it's great that Taco is posting that story over and over.. Maybe he'll get it out of his system to post dups for when Apr. 1st is over.

IANAS (I am not a smoker) but isn't the reason most people smoke for the nicotine?
That's like alcohol-free beer. What's the point?
....unless you are a pr0n star.
I've got some crappy speakers on my laptop. Can somebody post the lyrics to this? Even without understanding what he's saying, it's hillarious.
How do you know that's not what he was doing?
Sounds like vaporware to me.
