I'll second this, I don't want to be carrying a phone, plus a mmedia device, plus an organizer. So I could fall for this one, but I'll examine carefully the data transfer issues (it needs to be evolution friendly)
Now that the best wines come from Australia and California. Please. There maybe good wines in Australia and California. But you still can't compare them to the best french wines: Sauterne, Chateau Ichem, Pomerol, StEmilion, Cotes de Nuit Saint Georges, and so on. You could ignore them, but that's a mistake
You've got a point, the good thing however is that the last time I installed Firefox on a friends computer, I could simply say "This is the new Internet Explorer", and everything was fine with it.
In an unrelated story, american people (who only have one word to represent the concept of Indians and Native Americans) where presented people from India and Native Americans. As language shapes the mind, American people were unsurprisingly unable to make any difference.
Then you're living near the border. It takes at least 10 hours by bus from Kathmandu (the capital) to reach the Indian border. And I'm not talking about Sherpa or Gurung villages in the mountains.
As the article points out, it's already fixed A fixed iso is available. Microsoft and Apple are mostly blamed for their "Keep silent and don't fix" policy.
You need to figure out which part of the brain actually does the moving In fact, some experiments (sciam ?) have shown that monkeys where able to guide a robotic arm with their brain. They did not target a specific area, actually the monkeys learned to use their brain in that way, with that plug.
Interesting i don't have this code with Mozilla, but I do have it with IE... (I use Mozilla as primary browser so I first thought the code simply wasn't there.) Are mozilla users not representative enough for page ranking?
View the source to a Google results page to see it. Well, I did, but couldn't find no evidence of what you point out, could you give a snippet of the HTML code?
If you haven't already, you should definitely read Ken Thompson's Turing Award lecture, "Reflections on Trusting Trust" here. Definitly a good read, thanks for posting it
the fact that the exploit only works for IE5 doesn't mean that the same hole doesn't exist in IE6. For this kind of exploit, a different compile option or whatever can make it fail.
I understand. I just wanted to point out *what* was actually discussed in the lkml. Point that my parent post seemed to have missed. As IANAL, I think we need a ruling to know exactly what a *judge* would define as a boundary...
I think you've missed the point, the problem is to define what does "based upon" means. When you compile a binary, you have to compile with some header files which are GPLed. So you are "based upon" GPL code right? IIRC Linus argued that this wasn't sufficient. He stated that for a module needed to be written with Linux in mind (ie targeted at it), accessing particular data structures, then it would have to be GPLed.
It's on the way, in his visit to China, late June, India's PM, Vajpayee stressed the need of collaboration between China's hardware manufacturers and India's software savy. More details here : India hails China as hi-tech ally
Well maybe in the developed markets where people are using windows since last 10 years and are used to it. But in nascent markets it maynot be the case.
In those so-called nascent markets, you can find any copy of any pirated software, so everyone having a computer can purchase the newest software and use it.
Even these markets are full of windows users, don't even think about a heaven of Linux awaiting geeks.
9. XUL really rocks:

Mostly true except that Louis VI probably never heard of America. Credits are due to Louis XVI :), a couple of centuries later.

Mind giving a link or something? How is this "Informative"?
Although some frames get skipped from time to time (under heavy load), my bt848 is doing fine since the early 2.6.0-testX series...

Strange, the "chessmaster 9000" I own does use DirectX (Direct2D)... Perhaps you meant Direct3D?

Actually, despite being unable to create a better theory, Einstein as always been questioning this "true" randomness.
Check by yourself.
