From the Bill of Rights: Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

I have convinced people to give Linux a try with Knoppix. It goes something like this... Someone asks me to fix their spyware and virus contaminanted computer... I bring up the fact that if they put the Knoppix CD in the drive and click on the Firefox button, they can surf safe and clean.

What a load of crap... How can you believe that the poor people shoulder the majority of the tax burden? They don't have the money to do it. If you don't believe the political spin from one party, why should you believe the spin from the other?

That is why there is a system of checks and balances (supposedly) in place. To limit government power.
Apparently you feel that the DMCA is composed of the same moral fiber as God? _I_ feel they most resemble philosophers... "What we demand are solid facts!"...

My previous employer had NetApps. In three years we only recovered a file from tape once. All of the other times it was from a snapshot.

"Damn that's cold! I didn't realize there was any place on earth where dry ice could occur naturally."
Apparently you don't know my ex-wife...
Kinda like "I did not inhale"..? :)
Has there been a politician in the last 100 years who has not used this tactic?
These are the same people who vote for tax increases...
Why is it that people forget about the '94 election?
The economic outlook was beginning to look bleak by '93 or so... And then the Dems lost congress.
