    enabling Cleartype is actually a very good idea. (but it doesnt make much sense for a browser to do this, it should be enabled by default)

    there is a quite interesting video (http://channel9.msdn.com/Showpost.aspx?postid=146 749 ) about it. (it basicly says that people can read ClearType text faster and more accurate than standard text

    For me too. especially the available of the original Language.
    on VHS i could only buy the translated version *or* the original version, on DVD i can have both on the same disc. (and enable subtitles if i want to)

    according to http://www.chip.de/artikel/c1_artikel_17625421.htm l (sorry german) ATI's X1300, X1600, X1800 have a "Turbo Video Encoder" to encode Videos 5 times the speed then current solutions.

    IMO integrating a X1300 (curenty about 80) should be a possibility for a Mini, so it *could* work.

    thats just completely wrong.

    Access 2003 *can* read Access 97, 2000 and 2003 Formats. (and i think even 95)
    But you have to convert an Access 97 File to at least 2000 to be able to manipulate it.

    it can even convert everything to everything (e.g. 2003 back to 97)

    its easy, but unfortunatly illegal.
    at least here in Austria its not allowed to break a copy protection. (and yes: CSS counts as copy protection)

    sometimes if you install an extension that isnt made for this version you cant even use the browser anymore. (you have to manually remove the files)

    i dont think that you want to to this.

    Restoring the extensions (at your own risk) is very simple with this extension: http://users.blueprintit.co.uk/~dave/web/firefox/b uildid/nightly.html

    but it cant be done automatically!

    breaking the extentsions with a new release is the only way. (or would you prefer breaking the whole browser by enabling an extension that doesnt work with this release?)

    I bought Corel WP 6 (or whatever it was), and immediately regretted it. It actually made me buy Word 95 (or 97?)

    So for me Word is/was better than Word Perfect

    well allmost every Installer asks for my Password, so a Spyware installer wouldnt look any different than a normal one. and once i give the installer my Admin Password it can do anything it wants on my Mac.

    Pretty much every Windows PC i've got to repair was filled with Ad/Spyware that caused the problems
    Those Apps are installed by the user. (well some of them are installed by exploiting IE flaws, but most of them are bundled with apps that a user installed)

    Nothing stopps Spyware Authors to write Mac Versions to mess up Mac OS X.
