> Gift is a word that is originally derived from the ancient German word geban - which, incidently, is a verb.
The funny thing about "gift" is, that there is a german word "Gift" that means poison... strange how one word can have so different meanings in two languages. </OT>

For me too. especially the available of the original Language. on VHS i could only buy the translated version *or* the original version, on DVD i can have both on the same disc. (and enable subtitles if i want to)
Access 2003 *can* read Access 97, 2000 and 2003 Formats. (and i think even 95) But you have to convert an Access 97 File to at least 2000 to be able to manipulate it.
it can even convert everything to everything (e.g. 2003 back to 97)
breaking the extentsions with a new release is the only way. (or would you prefer breaking the whole browser by enabling an extension that doesnt work with this release?)
well allmost every Installer asks for my Password, so a Spyware installer wouldnt look any different than a normal one. and once i give the installer my Admin Password it can do anything it wants on my Mac.
Pretty much every Windows PC i've got to repair was filled with Ad/Spyware that caused the problems Those Apps are installed by the user. (well some of them are installed by exploiting IE flaws, but most of them are bundled with apps that a user installed)
Nothing stopps Spyware Authors to write Mac Versions to mess up Mac OS X.

enabling Cleartype is actually a very good idea. (but it doesnt make much sense for a browser to do this, it should be enabled by default)
6 749 ) about it. (it basicly says that people can read ClearType text faster and more accurate than standard text
there is a quite interesting video (http://channel9.msdn.com/Showpost.aspx?postid=14

Who modded a Question as Troll?
I havent heard from him either, but here are some Informations: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Fripp

"Microsoft encourages users to exercise caution when they open e-mail and links in e-mail from untrusted sources."
well... not really helpfull, but when MS has a patch, it should be linked on this page
Its https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=31900 4 (copy/paste link, Bugzille doesnt like /. Links)

According to a Comment there a workaround is setting
user_pref("capability.policy.default.HTMLDocument
tell it the guys from www.x.org (how did they get this domain anyway?)
according to http://www.chip.de/artikel/c1_artikel_17625421.htm l (sorry german) ATI's X1300, X1600, X1800 have a "Turbo Video Encoder" to encode Videos 5 times the speed then current solutions.
IMO integrating a X1300 (curenty about 80) should be a possibility for a Mini, so it *could* work.
and while you are at it, dont forget to add a Kitchensink too.
no, this is the only way. (people *never* update their Systems unless forced to to so)
btw: the default setting is install without asking me, so most users shouldnt even see this message
>Access 2003 can't open 97 databases at all,
thats just completely wrong.
Access 2003 *can* read Access 97, 2000 and 2003 Formats. (and i think even 95)
But you have to convert an Access 97 File to at least 2000 to be able to manipulate it.

and if any manager has something to say, the'll end up with RIM's Hardware and Palm's software (emulated under WinCE)
its easy, but unfortunatly illegal.
at least here in Austria its not allowed to break a copy protection. (and yes: CSS counts as copy protection)
sometimes if you install an extension that isnt made for this version you cant even use the browser anymore. (you have to manually remove the files)
b uildid/nightly.html
i dont think that you want to to this.
Restoring the extensions (at your own risk) is very simple with this extension: http://users.blueprintit.co.uk/~dave/web/firefox/
but it cant be done automatically!
breaking the extentsions with a new release is the only way. (or would you prefer breaking the whole browser by enabling an extension that doesnt work with this release?)
>Word wasn't "better" than WordPerfect
for me it was better.
I bought Corel WP 6 (or whatever it was), and immediately regretted it. It actually made me buy Word 95 (or 97?)
So for me Word is/was better than Word Perfect

but a Web Based Office that Reads/writes OpenDoc (and MS Office) Files wouldnt be a bad idea.
The Auto Update works with fine with the current 1.5 Betas. (so it will be fixed with the next major release)
Tom Ferris is the reporter of this bug5 9
see https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3072
will the 1.5 Beta Patch be offered through the new Update System? (or will 1.5 Beta1 users have to wait for 1.5 Beta2)
