there are still problems with skipping class and just listening to podcast, such as, if they have any questions about the material, both in the podcast and in the reading, they will not have the opportunity to ask them
also, if podcasts are only online for a part of the time, there is nothing stopping students from getting podcasts from someone who has saved them all.
it seems like any vote on the future of pluto ought to wait till after the prob gets there in a few years. We do not even have good pictures of the planet, or a lot of solid date (if the wikipedia entry is good). I say wait to make any changes until than, anything else would be jumping the gun
Dont universities concent to joining Facebook? IE when one signs up for facebook one does so with there University email and password. If Kent State wants to stop their students from using facebook because of there listed reasons, cant they just stop being apart of facebook
If i have more than 5 songs from one artist they get there own folder if ive got complete CDs from an artist, each album gets a folder within the artist's folder less than 5 songs, artists are sorted by name into and "A" folder or a "B" folder.
ive been using this system for 8 years and has worked out well for me. with winamp there is an option in the context which can add the contents of a folder to a playlist. This gets around having the create them in winamp, than having to do something with those files.

I fully agree. Its imporant to find a balence between pure charity and assistence in economic develepment, at least when in comes to helping the 3rd world getting a leg up.
But helping sick kids in american having something to do while in a hospital is a little differant than helping sick kids in africa not die of bad water.

Years ago Scott Kurtz posted this on his website PVP. I have since played DnD with my little brother and his friends. While they have not become gamers they really enjoyed it.
It seems like all of those people who say they can't play DnD or other table top RPGs because they have kids and families ought to be playing with thier kids and families. It gets them away from the video games and the TV.
It seems that Alternity went away with the launch of the 3rd editon of DnD and the launch of D20. I have got back to my Dark*Matter books to see if it might be converted to D20 but no one wanted to play with me, so i never finished.
Everywhere i go i make sure that if a Zombie busts in i am ready.
1) Look for exits and ways to block them. 2) make sure that there is aways blunt objects or shot guns 3) if there is a shot gun, and there is less that 10 shells. Give the gun to the weakest member of the party. They are goign to die frist, and there is little a gun with that few shots is going to do 4) what zombie moves everychance you get. Take notes on what goes right and what goes wrong.
I wonder why Yahoo didn't do this years ago. At least from a liability standpoint this seems like Yahoo would not want to put itself in the place were it was the medium for a pedophile getting some kid into his van. Or two 13 year olds hooking up and running away together.
I know it wasn't Yahoo's fault if something like this were to happen. But having it happen in their backyard might piss a lot of people off

What really pisses me off is out iTunes reognized all my music when it was inported into the libary. I spent years putting together music in such a way that i can find it. Now i have the seach for it b/c itunes had to mess things up.

maybe, but there are a lot of lazy people out there who are willing to play cash to get to the highest levels of the game with working for it.
