  2. A problem on Planet Simpson · · Score: 2, Interesting

I found one of the biggest problems i had while reading to book was how the writer refered to episdoes by thier production number. This made it hard to tell what season it was from. Often times when talking about an empisode for more than a parigraph or two it became hard to keep track of what he was talking about

  6. A Reflection on Google Calendar Coming Soon? · · Score: 2, Interesting

When Yahoo and Excite tried to do this years ago everyone made fun of them. Now it seems that if google does it - its cool - Google can do no wrong. I love Gmail and good...dont get me wrong.

The good thing is that as good as added tons of new stuff over years the front page has not been jammed full of adds and paid links.

    Neil,

How do you see your books (Snow Crash in particular) fitting in with the greater social criticisms of our time? Is there a over arching point that you are trying to convey? How do you see your novels fitting in with the greater commentary of our culture as portrayed in cyberpunk?

"Fast burners and digital recording equipment tied into the sound system would make it easy to get these discs out minutes after a concert ends. What would be sad is that most likely, encores and bonus sets would be lost if they cut the recording early"
