That doesn't really say anything about the quality of them as an organization, other than that they can be saddled with political appointees on thier board. The Kennedy Center gets political appointees too, doesn't mean thier performances are lesser because of it.
Besides, he's been gone for a year, althought it looks like the book was published during his time on the board.
Capitalism doesn't scorn intangibles (some captialists do). Captilasim jstu has troubel with intangibles, because they're hard to quantify and qualify. If you could define the warm fuzzy feeling you get for helping someone as worth $500, capitolism would be all over it.
Pulling up Mises and Rothbard? Yikes. You need to find a few other economists to read up on. Strict laissez-faire economists make for interesting reading, but fall down to any real world testing.
Its acutally better than that. Banks can lend out more credit than they have in reserves, so for each dollar you lend a bank, they can loan out a 1.50 (actual amount is limited by what the FED has as a reserve ratio, or if the bank has a lower currency reation set by thier board).
You're not going to get all that much better than what you have. You'll probably be stuck with 2 2U boxes for your computer, since AFAIK, anything 1U that will take a PCI card is gonna be way bigger than your standard portable audio rack. Since you want to keep using your Osprey cards (good choice, btw), you're kind of out of luck for anything much smaller.
I'm kind of fuzzy on what you're looking for. It sounds like your setup works. Maybe you just need to look at a case with better handles or casters.
Your grinder attachment for mixers, assuming you mean KitchenAid, is either their meat grinder, fruit and vegetable grinder/strainer, or a grain mill. While you can use these accessories for coffee, its like buying a car to crack open walnuts.
Video in PowerPoint is just about the least portable feature in it. Its incredibly fickle about paths, and doesn't handle going cross platform (Mac and PC) since the PC version doesn't show Quicktime files well, and the mac version can;t seem to show wmv at all.
It does. As you said, it requires a separate disk image, but it works well. We haven't put any Intel's into production (other than on my boss's desk), but we've tested deployment.
The Mac OS hasn't been free as long as I've been using Macs: 7 - payed, 7.6 - payed, 8 - payed, 8.5, payed, 9, payed. The.1 upgrades have been free, but the core OS has been a pay for thing.
Holy crap, I used to love your games. I must have wasted more time playing Exile back on my old Mac IIfx that any all the other games I had put together. Since I was unable to buy a copy back then (I was somewhere around 12), I think I'll be putting an order when i get home.

Would "there's a printed copy sitting in our reception area, come pick it up?" work?
independent internet marketer? Spammer?

Except you don't buy music from the record company, you buy it from a distributer. Best Buy or your local music store, those folks have their markup.
If you popped off the plastic color panels on the right and left side, it became a useable mouse.

Apple's pages list this a replacement for the 12" Powerbook as well as the iBook.
Thats because you didn't install Firefox. You downloaded it. Its on par with running a program out of a winzip archive every time you want to use it.

I've got that. Its a feature of 10.4 Server.
You only get that Karma when its a favor. When you have to fix their home PC because its your job, then the boos sees that you just did your job.
Which is something I see nothing wrong with. Its arguments like this that keeps many companies from selling software that runs on Linux.
I seem to recall having a box for System 7 but it might have been 7.1 after all. It has been 15 years, after all.

At scale, sure, but if you only do two or three credit card transactions a day? Or if the average purchase is below $10
Why isn't there a -1 Ignorant mod?

I'd think "Raise the Dead", "Walk on Water," and "Turn Water in Wine" are enough to count.
