    Just came back from Taipei 101 about 10 minutes ago. The elevator goes up at 1010 m/m, down at 600 m/m. The cabin is air pressured, like in an airplane, so there is very little ear pop. It's eerie to get to the 89th floor in around 30 seconds. And yes, it's made by Toshiba.

    The trip to the enclosed observation deck is about 350 Taiwan dollars, around $12. If you're lucky, you may be able to go for a couple of elevator trips on one ticket.

    At least in case of Verizon, they wouldn't let you use your "unlimited" cell phone data connection in the "always-on" mode. Quoting Verizon Customer Information,

    There was a bug filed back in 2001 requesting support for XForms in Mozilla. Despite many votes for the bug (around 600 now), for a long time, Mozilla people were against XForms, arguing back and forth with the supporters of XForms.

    They didn't like the XForms spec and did not want to implement all the XML APIs on which XForms depends. I guess after divorce from Netscape and switching the name to Mozilla Foundation and with support from big companies like IBM, they decided to start the work.
