Hey they just added Pop-Up browser blocking! I think asking for any more features is pushing it a bit. IE users will have to wait for Longhorn to get tabbed-browsing.
"He also pointed out that not everyone can be converted just yet because of a single application (the City Council's Agenda Management System) requires MS Office to run."
If an single application requires MS Office to run, I bet its Access-based. I think once more applications are converted from Access to SQL, you'll have more conversions from MS Office to OO.
"take the role of a taxi driver who has to accomplish outrageous driving stunts to pick up passengers and quickly deliver them to their destinations.""
I have done that in GTA3.
1. Pick up passenger 2. Drive down the wrong side of the road , over people, down grass inclines, etc.. (does that qualify as "outrageous"?) 3. Dropped off passenger
Of course, I'll add a few extra steps: 4. Beat down exiting passenger with the baseball bat and steal their bling-bling. 5. Enter cheat code to get unlimited ammo 6. Enter cheat code to get infinite health 7. Enter cheat code for tank. 8. DESTROY! DESTROY! DESTROY!

You really need to review this. I saw the story this AM (EST) and throughly reviewed the deal because I'd like to upgrade my mother's computer which is a currently a pc200mhz with 64mb of memory as a Xmas present.

"$299 Financed plus a one-year committment to AOL for 23.90"...did you read financed?
my take on the deal...
according to the fine print, you are issued a Tiger Gold Card with approve credit from Wells Fargo, furthermore, the regular APR is 21.9% (i think, the fine print is very small).
so now you have a credit card from a company with a really high interest rate! "Boom!" as Madden 2004 would say. That is the hook for AOL, they can make some money by establishing new customers for a credit card company.
i went to a computer show this weekend and i picked up a gainward 5200 128. installed the latest nvidia drivers. installed 3d mark 2001 se (i only play dx8.1 games) so i wanted to test the results. i seriously got a score of 3100. i returned the card and bought an ati 9100 128 pro instead and scored a 7100.
since i mostly play americas army, i checked my FPS with the 5200 and was scoring around 10 fps on the map SFcsar. i thought AA implemented a new bullet-time feature!
i think my card may have been screwed up but i didnt feel like troubleshooting it extensively.
Like most of the previous releases the developers are experiencing SERIOUS problems again. Each time you play a game, you will have to login which is automatically done for you. However the login servers are overloaded and a large percentage of players are unable to play. Matter of fact, I have been unable to play since Thursday. Once the game was announced players were overwhelming the site looking for 2.0 release.
Since there has been major problems with each release, I honestly think the developers really have no idea what they are doing. If you are going to develop an online game, dont go out and hire a team who has never built a online game. But you know how the gov't works, someone is friends with someone who donated money to their campaign or were buddy-buddy.
i dont think that car would survive Laguna Seca Raceway. However, I am aware that GT3 did feature many muscle cars but they were limited to a few tracks, if I recall correctly.
(this was back in 1999) nothing like getting owned in counter strike, by my clanmate on a dialup with a crappy video card, while i was on a cable connection with a gf2.
Here's my theory on the HL2 delay. Since VU is operating at a substantial lost, they are prime to be saved by Bill Gate's wallet. Since Half Life2 and Xbox2 are both optimized to run on ATI's hardware, I can see the Richmond's Borg needing their killer app for XBOX2. Gates says "Hmmmm, Half Life2 sounds good. Buy them out boys!"
okay, if you give money to slashdot you can see stories in the future. what does slashdot provide? basically a link to a story. since i pay, i get to see the story first before its get slashdotted.
now, i donated money to Trillian and i get to download the patches first before non-paying customers. see the the correlation?
Yahoo!(R) - Updated to libyahoo2 v 0.7.2(http://libyahoo.sourceforge.net) (gb/ah) Thanks to Philip Tellis and the libyahoo2 team for releasing a fix. Thanks also to the GAIM team for engineering the new authentication mechanism and publishing the results to the open source community.
Okay the Uday and Quasy shootout was 200+ American soldiers with armor vs 4 guys with Ak47s and pistols. I can hear people who are on the Iraqi side yelling "TEAMS!?!"
I'd love to hear the subwoofers as the space invaders descending down like the RIAA's attempt to trample down file swappers. I'd imagine the company would just play some techno music then.

Didnt Gates or Ballmer promise that?
Macintosh Users
The Macintosh operating system is not supported at this time. Netscape currently supports Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, and Windows XP.
Please check back in the future for a Macintosh version of Netscape!
What is the best racing simulation game have you played then?

I am sure they will release the patch to all users however paying customers get first dibs on their download servers.
Imagine the uses for advertising in a city's red light district.
It seems like everyone else is doing it.
