I had to double check my hotmail.com account after reading this alarming post. I was happy to find all my spam still in my account! Thank you to all the Hotmail.com admins.
I wanted to get my firstnamelastname@gmail.com, my names are very generic and would have been taken. I bought the other two for my wife and daughter. In hindsight, I probably didnt need to buy it, but the 75$ would have gone to something stupid like food or fuel anyway.
With optical mice why would anyone need a mouse pad? Back in the day with the old-style mice, I would occasionally move my mouse off the pad thus resulting my Rocket Launcher pointing in some odd direction. Once I switched to an optical mouse, that.99c IKEA mouse pad was thrown out the window.
Here's some interesting background into Look and Feel lawsuits. I remember in college having long debates that Windows 95 was a ripoff of Apple's System 7. Apple has "Trash" and MSFT has "Recycle Bin". Apple list their icons on the right and MSFT list them on left...so on and so on.
I've got IE configured to present itself to websites as Netscape so I can't check the Windows Update webpage
Why don't you just download Netscape/Opera/FireFox and just use IE for windows update? You should manually be able to control what updates you are doing then.
as a gamer, i never have considered a game whether its "moral" or "immoral" or have historical importance to play.
when i play Battlefield: Vietnam, I have never not joined the Vietkong or the NVA thinking that I don't want to kill Americans. I'll just indiscrimitely shoot anyone not on my team.
perhaps the Bandlgadeshi Liberation developers might develope the game like America's Army, where you always play as the "US Army" and the opponent are always the "OpFor".
One of the primary reason that I play AA is to track my frag rate.
1) Yes there is a learning curve but most games do, don't they? Find a map that you enjoy and play it over and over and over til you master it. If you are new to FPS, I think map memorization is key.
2) Follow an EXP. player. If one of your teammates has a good FR (10fr/3deaths), follow them around and see what they are doing. Even after you die, switch to the person and follow them. Watch their kill style and technics.
3) Recognize your enemies and friendlies. One thing that I really dislike is being TKed (team killed), it occasionally happens and its not your fault.
In anycase, my favorite frag technic on a n00bie is to throw a flash bang grenade and than leave a nade right at their feet. When they are flashed, they will only see a white screen and hear white noise and they won't move at all. After they are fragged, the screen is cleared and they can see and hear again. However since I used a nade to kill them, I have already disappeared. The said n00bie will never know what killed him/her.
One of the more popular flame wars on the message boards is AA realism vs atypical FPS. From my viewpoint, its just a game. I haven't read any threads saying, "After playing AA, I decided to enlist." Gamers were just looking for another option besides Counter Strike and AA was the answer for some.
i really believe when HL2 and Doom3 is released, there will be a castrophoic drop off in AA players.

when was MOH originally released? :)
I've come across many "Ask Slashdot" post that have some obvious answers such as this one. Maybe / code can have some story moderation.
Here's some the choice:
1 Did you try google?
2 Uninformative
3 Interesting
4 Blame Microsoft
5 Blame SCO
i'll let everyone know when i am done!
I see this as a candidate for worst games of all time.
Actually my friend gave me his record collection including a rare import album that I was looking for a few years.

Life support is when they are delisted from the stock exchange and/or when they are refferred to as a penny stock.
Of course this only applies to programs which require them.
