Apple happends to be the only computer company who is still profitting. and they have a LOT of cash availible. they are giving away a lot of money to the victems(1 ibook for fammillies with children and one million dollars to the famillies of rescue workers).

I'm going to explain this very, very, very simply. Say if whitehat A where to find a security hole in your companies computer, and would notice you. And you where to fix it. you thank him and (possibly) send him a small check.
Now... it appears that you would rather have the white hat see that your computer is vulnerable, not notice you because he doesn't want to go to jail. And start programming something else. Then, a few weeks later a script kiddie comes by, sees a vulnerable machine, grab all the passwords. and deface every computer on your network he could find.
i agree that having a company to port games is nice... but who really needs it??????? i mean... the Open source community can port games!!!!!!!!!!! we don't need the source if we can reverse engineer data files, think about freecnc, freeciv, and all the other fun games for linux!!!!

Unlike most people i used to be very relaxed (meaning: Not hyperactive). my dad introduced me to computers at a very young age ('bout 4/5). Now (i'm 13) I know more then my computer teacher. I've been webmastering and trying out programming.Also I have been (with permission of the system Administrator) Finding ways into our new linux file system.
All these skills have saved me. My handwriting has always been terrible. I've had extralessons my entire live. I type faster then most people in my class can write. So nowerdays i am taking a comp with me to school.
When i was young it was easier to find me in front of the computer then in front of the TV!!!

Sounds great to me..... however the downside is that It might cost lives... people can't reach 911 in time etc.
