If someone is "porn addicted" they have something more serious going on and need serious medical/mental help what ever it is it's not an addiction.     How people treat women is more is a function of how they were brought up. Not something they picked up looking at pr0n.

    If I am forced to use GNOME I will not use Linux.
    That means I will use and promote a OS besides the one I currently use since 99.9% of all my computer use is Liunx with a KDE desktop it will be an OS other than Linux.

    This whole Diebold thing is getting interesting. I wish the accuracy of these memos could be verified.

    Exactly. I voted in the Californian recal election with a machine scanable ballot. My absentee ballot was a bubble in teh blank ballot. Why the heck do we need computers when pencils are cheaper? There is no question about not having an auditable trail.

    It's a good law I hope is actuially has a effect. I however will no hold my breath. I have been told that any form of "SPAM" is was alrady illegal in Ca.

    It's not a non story. It's actually a ploy by Ashcroft to get a pipeline to Malayasia and Indonesia's interent to track down those evil muslim terrorists. Those being the 2 largest muslim countries in the world having a sympathetic SG government overseeing all the spying on them and all the doemstic US trafic in one stop will be just wonderful. It gets around all those pesky constutional laws and civil rights if a country besides the US does it then just happens to tell Ashcroft and the FBI all about it. Think about it. That is how Echelon works too. They are just putting a big black box on the major pacific/asian/middle est pipes.
