    I'm so sick of the hitler whinging. Christ... Hitler was not a nice guy. He killied a lot of people for dumb reasons. But he was no Stalin by any means. And we can be quite sure if Hitler had not stepped on some toes, a lot more people today would be speaking russian.

    It wasn't budget that killed series 7, it was the lack of rimmer. When rimmer came back it was good again. Not series 1 good, but pretty darned good nonetheless.

    You should, .Net is good stuff from a developers' standpoint. I imagine that if runtime support was available on mac / unix, it would kill java in about 6 months. Microsoft is no more evil than sun - just more successful these days.

    Although nothing is funnier than when they'll serve me and I'm off my tits, but my mate who's half as drunk is too loud / unco and the won't give him another beer :)

    No, it went down the toilet with a lame story, no good old characters (no matter what they say, eric roberts is _not_ the master), and a tardis that looked like a hotel lobby.

    I'm sorry i every saw that movie. It was worse than the phantom.

    But, if you build a vacuum cleaner that works like a dyson, and I buy it and clean my carpets with it, it's _your_ fault, not mine. It's not up to the consumer to worry about patents, or nobody would be able to use anything at all without fear of being sued for it.

    Erm, why not?

    My 4.1megapixel camera uses a big jpeg, usually 3 or 4 mb, which would be about 10mb in tiff. And i'd much prefer it to be higher than smaller.

    And when I've got more cash I'm switching to film and scanner- it's much more expensive per shot but the results are also much better. And each pic will end up more like 30-50mb

    The CPU doesn't have to be fast enough to do the genetic code real-time, you do that beforehand, and develop the neural network over time through genetic algorithms, then simply attach that finished neural network to characters in the game.

    Imagine if stick-figure man from the example were given a sword, and the goal of staying alive (and standing) the longest... Eventually you could come up with some sort of genetically evolved fighters... Now that's something I'd love to see.

    Grind some pepper in it works for me best. It doesn't dissolve, and the ground up "bits" have lots of nice sharp edges to form bubbles on.

    Metal doesn't hurt the microwave, neither does your microwave hurt the metal. The reason people think microwaves are damaged by metal is they microwave a spoon, and nothing else... Metal reflects the microwaves, the magnatron overheats. Same thing happens if you run your microwave with nothing in it. Place a glass of water in the oven to absorb excess microwaves and you'll have no worries.

    Yeah, because the average consumer would feel so much more comfortable about buying their weed from some random pothead, rather than off store shelves.

    Erm, we're talking about pot here. Joe random pothead is the average consumer of this product by definition.

    Of course, the only reason people want to grow it, is cause it's expensive from a dealer (really expensive in the US). If you can get it from coles as a pack of winnie greens, the price drops, not much point growing it at home...

    People can brew their own beer now, but most don't.
