Would "The Hottest Certification Since Sliced Bread" be a diploma in making toast?
Looks that way. The decision to make Rare games proprietary demonstrated to me (once and for all) that BillCo still doesn't get it. It pushed me over the edge, so to speak, of a decision I have been considering for the past six months.
Back in the early-mid nineties or thereabouts, Gates turned his corporate behemoth on a dime to accept and embrace the internet, after years of denying that it was relevant. But now, they can't seem to figure out a way to embrace open source. Since even a dullard like me can see that proprietary systems will continue to lose market share, I am switching to open source.
While it may be true that over clockers working on their own PCs in their dads' garages may spring a leak, in reality a commercial water cooling system this just doesn't happen.
Yes, and while small watercraft may spring a leak, in reality a commercial ocean liner just can't sink.
I played piano & synths for years before getting into computers. The keyboard has never bothered me, but the goshdarned mouse has got to go. Use it for more than 10% of the time I'm on and my right shoulder begins to hurt and stiffen.
Just say "Screw ya, wouldn't wanna be ya" to TVLand. Go read a book, write some code, ride a bike, learn to sail, make love, make art, compose a song, take a picture, design a website, teach an old dog a new trick, post to/., rant, run, rock & roll, etc.

2 caffein pills washed down with an ice-cold Jolt.

You have the potential to become an excellent teacher. You have imparted knowledge to me in a benignly humorous way. Thanks.
Only 70? I live in Florida. When I moved in I brought the average age down to 85.
Most of these folks would be very happy with the old booth and flick-a-switch machine, the one that closed and opened the curtain for the occupant.

Unholy peeboxes.
...a little bullet-proof glass, some armor & weapons...the little bitch is made for close-quarter urban demolition zone warfare.
will oxidize relatively quickly. I've had apartments on the beach where a the stereo fried after a few months.
Best bet would probably be a laptop stored in a large freezer bag, along with a case of those little dehumidifying pouches.
