If there was any respect for life, they'd support abortion (though i consider it a poor choice of contraception) as it often prevents adults from bringing children into a life without choice, option, or hope. Blither blither blither. This is probably news for you: MOVIES ARE FUN. Going to see a film with people who are looking to have a good time can be fun. I've seen many movies on opening night. Even ones that I knew were going to SUCK on many levels, but knew that I'd still have a good time with my friends, berating the film afterwards or praising it for it's creative banality. Does that make me a sheep? No more so than the millions of other movie goers that enjoy ANY film throughout the year, because, by your definition, simply being a butt in a seat is 'sheep-like'. Pot/kettle/black much? You going to tell me you havn't seen a single MPAA film since the 'shit went down'? Or that you never paid for a ticket to a movie you knew was going to be total crap? Support indie films by seeing them opening night, support truly creative efforts with your dollar as well as mainstream entertainment, and dammit, feel free to have a good time at a pulp-scifi movie event. You don't have to hate yourself for enjoying a movie that's not a Citizen Kane. 'Nuff with the culture wars, the only victim is good taste, and well, last I checked it's alive and well.
couldn't help but laugh at the action/fight scenes. I kept waiting for the Green Goblin to morph into a giant robot, and for spidey to call on his other power ranger friends. That rediculous burning house scene, worst ever since MI:2. Insufferably corny, and not kitchy enough to support the cheese. The movie was boring, it stripped out the wonder and the humor from the comics. Watching one-note play spidey was depressing, 'cause you know, guys with brains don't get chicks. you gotta be built and tough first.
Sure, and they also used to not employ thousands of Americans, stimulate large portions of a massively successfull industry, effectively creating more jobs, and creating a decent quality of life for many many people. It's called ensuring a good sure thing. It's not always for the best, (unless you have a real problem with people providing for their families) and isn't always fair, but there are men in black suits out there to ensure that things don't get worse than they are now. Can things get better? Prove it. Show me where an industry has been so enlightened when the status quo WASN'T supported.

I thought it was a great ending - however, it left a lot of questions unanswered, and many fans complained.

The greatest romantic film of all time, the msot original film of the year, and the most gorgeous art direction short of Moulin, and it loses to YET ANOTHER WAR FILM.
