I call BS. You are still using all your 1gb hard drives from 1996? Or do you mean that they 'lasted ten years' as in, they lasted as long as I wanted them to last before I stopped using them and they are sitting on a shelf somewhere in my basement so I'm sure they work just great.
As long as you don't have HDTV and your player doesn't do upsampling, you're probably right. But there's a big difference between the output of a S-video signal and a composite 720p or 1080i if your DVD player supports it. I would hope that Amazon's player has these capabilities.
get of their older devices for cheap on ebay, they rock. i've got 5 of them scattered throughout my house (3 different models, all running off the same server software on my debian box).
He's probably either: a) getting sued and his lawyers have advised him not to release too many details b) worried about getting sued and his lawyers have advised him not to release too many details
I call bullshit. Inflation rate is at an average of 3% for quite a few years. That's hardly just over 0% and inflation needs to be taken into account with budgets in the millions and billions of dollars!
See this link for just one source of inflation numbers:
Why can the manufacturer reuse 99% of the code for a modem and 95% for the video adapter? I was thinking more along the lines of 98% and 94%, respectively, but am willing to hear out your point of view.
Wow, you're doing it wrong then. Adding unnecessary casts is a bad thing because it can mask serious typesafety issues.
Netflix much?
Bitter much?
Office is activated, it's Visio that's not activated. Visio's non-activation is taking down the entire system.
Sure if it could go 1000 mph, that would work fine. It might be tricky to break the sound barrier with a solar-powered craft though.
Do they even need to?

Don't worry, you won't be getting one anyway. By the time poor slobs like you can get one they'll have these issues ironed out.
Parent makes some good points, not a troll at all.

No, I won't give up my rights for 500 lives.
You should really check out the 2.0 installer, which is a self-extracting exe on Windows.

Or you could go to your library.
So... buy a Gamecube?
Google is still good but Opera is still bad. Obviously!

But your math skills are lacking after 5 years without visual stimulus.
2 hrs/day * 7 days/wk * 52 weeks/year = 728 hrs or over 30 solid days of TV.
Because it will.

There are hundreds more.
I can't tell if you're trolling or not. Good one, if you are. Otherwise you're an idiot. :-)
I think you meant:
WolverwineWolverineWolverine....
They are all using IBM processors but certainly not the cell -- only sony will use that. Others will use more traditional powerpc designs I suspect.
