Wow, so uninformed. The copyright symbol means nothing except to inform others. As soon as you create a work, it's copyrighted. You choose not to enforce your copyright.
I was right with you, up until the last line. Aperture is a companion to Photoshop, it lacks things like layers, masking, etc. Photoshop is for photographers, and graphic artists.
In Russia it may be legal. It may even be legal in the US to download from them. Personally, I doubt it is. We'll not know for sure until we see a court ruling though.
Wow, you must have ignored the previous post completely. No where in that article is a definitive "No, it's illegal". Plenty of "Probably not legal", but no definitive "Illegal!". Since that's what he was looking for, your post is nothing but more of your trying to be arrogant, and in the process making yourself look ignorant.
Very true. Until I took a drawing class this semester, I was unable to draw a stick figure. The semester's not over yet, but I'm able to draw the figure, still lives, landscapes, etc and actually have them come out fairly decently. Observational accuracy is defiantly the key. An odd side effect is that I've found my photography has actually improved during the course of the class. Can't wait to see what happens when I've ad Drawing II and 2D design.
Hmm, how about no one is to blame? Since when do we require the government to come up with every medical advancement? Gee, here I was thinking their were private industries working on this as well. Spend your time applauding South Korea instead of putting down the government of the US.
Of course it's our birthright as a nation to own everything...and if you're thinking you can put that colony on pluto instead...think again, that's ours too.
Just as important? I'd say more so. If your lens doesn't focus properly, reproduce colors/etc, no amount of megapixels will save it. Sorta like sticking an EF 28-90 on a 1Ds MKII...what a waste. I'll stick with my canon L glass where I can.
7 megapixels is only clear if their is a decent lens attached. Given that it's going to be on a cellphone...I'll stick with my 3 megapixel point and shoot, or my 6 megapixel DSLR.
Well, you've learned how to draw some, but it's time to move onto accurate drawing now. Building from gesture, to contour, and into value over time. After taking a quick look at your drawing's, they're not bad, but the self portrait lacks accuracy. Check out the eye glasses, tilt of the mustache/mouth, ears, etc. Those're problems that should have been corrected in the gesture stage of the drawing. A good start though.

Yes, and thank you for ignoring the detail that it's just a proposed legislation, not a done deal. Chances of it going though, slim to none.

It's a replacement for Bridge and Adobe Raw Converter, not photoshop itself.
Logic says you're right of course. Unfortunately, logic has little place in the law.

No, I agree it's illegal. He asked for a definitive answer, you didn't give it. Now you're still being arrogant, but making yourself look ignorant.

Eh, wrong. They don't spin around at different RPM's, the outer edge spins faster than the center.
Wow, I think you have a decimal point mistake there! It's more like 26.245.... years.
Damn straight, and we like it that way.
Sounds like a volunteer, not a slave. Distinction, he's not being forced.
They are doing the right thing.
Headphones? I was just going for a quick elbow to the chest and a roll of ductape.
Indeed, untill I can afford a GOOD photo printer, such as the epson 2200, I'll leave all my printing to the fine folks at mpix

I'd rather not. Before you get too offended, I am a college art student.
Mental health screening? What a way to kill a colleges art department...

In a word...Yes.

You're obviously not into graphic design, animation, photography, etc etc etc.
If you want to keep using their service, yes. You can do this, pay a higher fee, or drop the subscription.
