There are computer models that account for the warping that would have been done by the sheet laying over the face. The result is a more realistic image.
He's got a throbber replacement to display flash cards while you surf. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to make a toolbar double height in Firefox.
Not that I expect the current administration to do anything about it.
If green technology is becoming cost competitive, it is because the price of oil is up sharply, which is a direct result of the policies of the current administration. Now that's irony.
The author says there are "no means to resolve" but I beg to differ. There is clearly a means to resolve these inconsistencies in that particular article! Edit it!!
He meant that the reader has no way to resolve the information presented to him, and he's right.

Replacing TCP?

No one is going to touch a new protocol at this stage.
I'd agree, except for two points. First, the protocol is built on top of UDP, meaning that it can be implemented at the application layer. All you have to do is toss the code into your P2P app, and it is available to anyone with the app.
Second, it could be coded (and looks like it may have been coded) to beat the pants off of any TCP connection sharing the channel. TCP is cooperative - it will share 'fairly' any congested channel. It will lose to a more greedy protocol.
6. Create a "My Radio" option and a "My Radio" guide. If I would like to listen to KFOG's "Live at the Archives" on Wednesday morning at 3 a.m., so be it. If I would like to get a season pass to Howard Stern, great. These files should be saved to MP3 and be portable.
Amen to that. I want an MP3 player that syncs to this puppy, so I can listen to Car Talk during drive time.
Q: Who is invited? A: Everyone, especially children. They will want to tell their children that they were there to see the event that triggered the industry of private space tourism.
The Message Labs data actually maps mine pretty closely. Their monthly chart shows a small increase December to January. My daily data shows a sharp drop on the 1st, then the traditional trudge for the rest of the month, with an overall small rise.
As I mentioned, spam continues to be up overall. But, without the two hits, it would be double, instead of 30%.
Our incoming spam rate, normally a clean, rising, exponential curve, dropped 20% the day CAN-SPAM went into effect. It happened again the day last month that it was announced that 4 had been indicted under the Act.
Of course, spam is still up 30% over the end of last year...
If they want competition, they should eliminate the broadcast flag.
He used graph theory to lay out his kitchen. The most connected resource? The trash can. It goes in the middle.

Programmers should have them tattooed into their foreheads
It would work better if you tattooed it to the other guys forehead.
From the description in the article, it sounds like there is a sandbox involved.

I leave it as an exercise to the student to answer the question, and see how it relates to porting KDE apps to Windows.

I've removed all such shows from my subscription list. Hopefully, the networks will get the hint.
That means http://sourceforge.net/projects/knoppixmame
Since he DOES have an entire department creating software to filter out spam, why doesn't he RELEASE said filters and help the rest of the world out?
In his case, I suspect the filters are human.

These guys may have a product.

less than 3% of Q1 2004 jobs were lost to offshoring
So, 3% of all jobs were lost in one quarter, for a 12% annual rate (Yeouch!), or 3% of the jobs that were lost were to overseas (no biggee).
Most reporting of statistics is a waste of time. "Inflation grew by 2% last month". So what's the annual rate? 2%? 24%? Better to ignore it.

Which ones have rpm and deb files generally available?

Don't believe it? Map your own data.

I saw a mention that straight RPM upgrades are strongly discouraged. Upgrade from CDs, or do a net upgrade.
