    I don't know if you have control of the secondary mx, but wouldn't an ssh tunnel work better? 1st mx fails, 2nd mx goes to a different server, and the mails go through ssh tunnel to first server...? No noticable lag time. That option would work well for those who could use it.

    I wish more ISP's would block email. I get so much spam through my company mail server that originates off of DSL/Cable internet services. Combine that with the recent worms that turns infected computers into spam relays. I think it should common practice to push all outbound mail through the ISP's mail server.

    And yes you can run it on non-standard ports. 26 is fairly common.

    I'm not a space nut, but why did NASA stop going to the moon in the first place? Its been a couple decades since our last moon landing, no?

    Because it costed the GNP of the top 5 nations at the time to get there, and as it turns out it was just a big rock in the sky, no cheese in sight!

    It looks like they really had to stretch to find 5 reasons. "choice in music stores", look, it doesn't matter, the fact is that they still cost $.99.

    The skipping while playing is pretty iffy, because they are suggesting that the flash buffer is completely empty before the HD spins up to refill it, which is completely untrue. It spins up long before it's empty to fill up the buffer. A lot like the way burning a cd works (only different ;-). Still, it's nice to see someone being objective about it.

    except that in OE 6, attachements that _could_ contain bad material are disabled. Such as Word doc's. Imagine that, microsoft blocking their own file formats. The first thing you have to do is disable that feature so you can even see your word doc. *sigh* Glad I use evolution...although I miss the CLI more ane more :-/

    What's wrong with that? People who refer other people to amazon know how the system works and can remove the referal, and those that don't know, don't care. So what's the big deal?

    *sigh* I guess I shoulda put a winky in there, it was supposed to be funny. :-/ I'm sure the gamecube did affect it somewhat but in barely noticable numbers when compared to the whole quarter. A couple weeks of getting spanked by Nintendo is still nothing compared to the last few months of Nintendo getting spanked, I am aware of this. It's called "joking" people!! come on! this is slashdot!! :-)

    I read that, it doesn't _exactly_ say they aren't using it because of the threads but more like, they aren't considering it because of threads. It wasn't even an option to be included in the benchmark tests. Although if they weren't so stuck on FreeBSD they _might_ choose j2ee. That would be a big boon for Sun if they did :-)
