Caps? i've never had a cap on my internet connection, neither back when i lived in the netherlands, nor here in Helsinki, finland, paying 50ish euro for a 200/10 line and i can download as much as i want
logitech rocks on warranty, 5 years on all mice and keyboards, and they replace practically anything if you are nice( customer service ppl get a lot of freedom to exchange devices). with mice "feet" they generally replace just the feet, unless they don't have those as seperate replacement parts.
ex-logitech support person myself, and I buy all mice, keyboards and speakers from them ever since.
non-commercial is a bit of an interesting misnomer. If I would download every movie/piece of music i want to watch/listen too, is that non-commercial?
Up to a point, i agree that current copyright is problematic. There needs to be a reward for making things people want, limited in time/ownership maybe.
In finland, the doctor might or might not prescribe the brand, but pharmacies where you buy the drug are by law forced to offer generic alternatives if available. The customer chooses whether he wants the generic or branded( co-pay might be bit lower on generics)
sorry, but nobody deserves that kind of solitary confinement for months.
yep, about as much as we had in last week here in Helsinki, :D
Netherlands also has cities of 30.000, since a lot of that is based on "town"rights given in the middle-ages
Linguistics or such studies don't generate a lot of huge data types, but you can fit a huge amount of written text on a usb stick.
To be fair, this had more to do with the incredible succes they had, blizzard was unable to keep up with demand on their servers for quite some time.
The fact that they called themselves socialist doesn't mean they were, they were fascists
Yes, his problem was that he probally was legless after 3 pints, should have practiced more ;D
No, it's the most dumb system i've ever heard off.
Giving the purchasers back the money(through gov. funds or such) is a good thing.
Letting the "new owners" keep someone's house, that might have big sentimental value is insane.
Finland seems to do pretty well with their rail system, and their population density is only 16 per sq. kilometer.

You cannot play single player in the beta, only multiplayer without inviting human players.
This is still concidered multiplayer, and battle.net connected.
Blizzard already stated this is just for the beta.
while insurance companies might not pay out when you forget to lock the door, the police will still arrest anyone who breaks in, door locked or not

except that copyright is already the opt-out in this situation.
Google basically says:"we are going to ignore the original way you told us to not publish these works, and you have to AGAIN tell us not to."
This might be a good solution for exceptional cases, where copyright holders might be hard/impossible to contact, but should not be a default.
The fact that copyright currently is messed up to start with is not really important to the discussion at hand.
You don't really understand crumple zones then....
Either you take the hit, or the car does.
I prefer a broken car over a broken spine personally.
The irish beg to differ, so do those wacko's who attack abortion clinics, and probally many many others.

if you snore a lot, you might have sleep apnea(spelling not sure).
Basically, an inability to breath correctly while sleeping, causing headaches due to oxigen deprivation.
Try sleeping with an extra pillow, or ask a doctor if you can test a breathing machine for a bit while sleeping.
