Require that abuse reports include a freeform description of why the suspected content violates the rules.
Then, don't ask the jurors whether the content violates the rules. Instead, ask them: Is (the freeform description) a true statement about the suspected content?
In other words: someone reports content for violation of TOS. Reason: "This content contains nudity."
The juror then gets the moderation request, and they answer a single question. Is: "This content contains nudity" true about the suspected content?
You're not judging the rules; you're judging the evidence.
Right. God forbid that we should display some simple human decency and maybe some sensitivity.
What the fuck has happened to people? This is a mother mourning her child, for god's sake. I'm not giving much of a fuck right now about a multi-billion dollar corporation and their next license to print money.
If having some basic human decency is "politically correct" then fuckin' A. I'm as politically correct as they come.
When I was working modem tech support (10 years ago), the most frequent complaint from people who had bought v.90/k56flex modems was that their speed was maxing out at 26.4. We'd occasionally get that from people who had bought 33.6 modems, but the 28.8 and below's consistently maxed out.
The 33.6 and 56k protocols do a lot of tricks with the line that the 28.8's don't; 28.8 is pretty much the highest speed American phone lines support without those tricks. I don't remember the technical reasons, but there you have it.

Ordinarily, when two parties have a dispute, one party gives the other a chance to work the problems out before it comes to a lawsuit. Judges and lawyers prefer doing it this way, as lawsuits are a mess for everyone concerned.
SCO has not given IBM or anyone else the chance to resolve the problems before filing suit. In fact, they specifically refused to let anyone to see what code was duplicated specifically so they couldn't remove it from Linux (in other words, resolve the issue before court).
It looks to me that SCO, unable to make money any other way, is hoping a judge will help them make their earnings for the quarter, if not the fiscal year.
Unfortunately, Eric Klien has somewhat of a reputation amongst those of us who have been (sort of) following Oceania as a bit of a crook. Some of us have been trying to keep the goals and the idea behind the Atlantis Project alive via a Yahoogroups mailing list called fountainhead-l. The Free State Project also has some great ideas.
Get thee to a lawyer. As someone else said, ignore what everyone else has said until you have talked to a lawyer.
I'd write off the site if I were you, at least for now. Focus on saving your degree. Once you've got that and are out of the university then you can tell them to piss up a rope. --

Go ahead. Keep defending people's right to be dicks.

...is that maybe it's too soon to be making a game about a war that is currently in progress, with parents welcoming their sons home in boxes.
Just my opinion.
Seriously, it is true. Yes, I know this from experience.
Yes, but have they made it not suck yet?

It really sucks that the little guy got screwed by a bunch of litigious bastards.

You have the chance to ask the Presidential candidates any question you want, and you're going to ask it about evolution?
I'm an atheist, so you pretty much can get which way I go on that question, but come on!
My IP is 127.0.0.1 ... take a run at it. I double-dog dare you.

Try netcatting directly to the server address and don't bother with tcpser4j. I did that and it worked fine.

Every so often we go back in to see what a wasteland it's become. It seems like anymore it's all about the ops, who has the power.
Use three of these, a prism, and three filters (one each red, green, and blue). Recombining the images from these into a color image is cake.
And things degenerated from there. I don't think we made it out of the briefing room.
Sounds to me like you did it right.
You can buy generic plastic pieces (pawns) at any specialty game store.
