If you dislike this the idea of them suing everyone perhaps we should call SunnComm at 602.267.7500 and tell them how much they suck and that we will never buy anything from them even if we are under the slightest impression that they might have been invovled with it and saying your an investor that sold all their shares probably would help you more:)

It is called Media Player Classic. It's hosted on sourceforge and is open source! It also conviently doesn't include Quicktime or Real codec's but a quick search on google for Quicktime Alternative and Real Alternative gives you those codecs! It can play everything provided you have the proper codec installed including DVDs so everyone on windows enjoy. Appropriate links follow below:
This question made me wonder could Macintosh users, use Pocket PCs? YES! I did a quick google search and produced this neat program which I cannot test because I'm one of those pesky Windows buggers but maybe it'll be helpful they have a free demo and it works with Dell Axim's and the Basic Model is only $199
Print Game Guides are dieing, nobody cares. What I'm surprised no one remembers is gameguides.com which was owned by Gamespot, they had the idea that they could sell PDF guides with screen shots and everything only online, their problem was that they wanted to charge back in the 90's when everything was supposed to be free. Anyway IGN launched IGN Guides which was supposed to be the exact same thing except it was free! (Everyone can see where this is going? Microsoft vs. Netscape anyone?) Anyway Gameguides.com turned to free and eventually gamespot let it die. Once they did that a time later (I'm not sure how long) IGN introduced IGN Insider and made new guides a perk of being an Insider and it was infact one of the reasons I signed up. I mean for $25 you get Video Game News, reviews, videos, pictures and full fledged game guides (no longer in PDF though) with pictures and maps. So I think Print Guides have outlived their business model and it's time for them to move online.
Actually they ported the games to cube, infact some magazines and I think maybe a website or two compared it to the N64 version and the Cube version looked a bit better.
Hi! I've always wondered how do you choose to go after people I mean do you decide hey we're going to go after this guy who's downloading stuff from Newsgroups and Kazaa because he's doesn't want to buy it? or do you tend to focus on people who are selling it out of their trunk in some parking lot for massive profits?
Yes for now except once they get done with the filetraders then I can see them starting after the leechers with download bots recording the IP addresses of leechers too.
1. MS Jet 4.0 SP7 required no reboot for me 2. I have every update and some that I'm not even supposed to have yet! (Read: you're supposed to call MS tech support for them but they were posted on websites) 3. Has anyone proven EULA's are court enforcable?
Why not get her a MSNTV/WebTV I mean it'll do all of that and it's easy and gets rid of almost all of your fears. No tech support, no security issues, no spyware and no email viruses. If she needs tech support I think they have a 1-800 # if you're not free and you can Instant Message her with MSN Messenger. So it sounds like to me that would be the perfect solution for you and it's cheap!

But you forget this is Apple and they're allowed to have a monopoly on their own hardware and give deliberately monopolistic terms on their Operating System (not permitted on non Apple Hardware anyone?) and force upgrades every year at $129. When MS released Windows 98 SE they allowed Windows 98 users to upgrade for $20 if they wanted to, it wasn't even forced. (If you paid the $20 MS sent you an upgrade disc)
I don't know if anyone else noticed this but there is going to be a chat with the author at 1 PM EDT Monday. It'll be at http://discuss.washingtonpost.com/zforum/03/r_maga zine_klein061603.htm

Why do you want Atari's old system? Lik-Sang has them for $59.00 but alas it is the PAL version http://www.lik-sang.com/info.php?category =179&prod ucts_id=2142&
If Sega releases NFL 2K4 for $50 on xbox and PS2, but only $40 on GC
That would be nice if they were released NFL 2K4 for GC period but they aren't they canceled it a while ago I can't find the story but here's a link to Sega's E3 list which shows that it is not coming out for GC and infact they canceled all sports titles for GC. http://www.gamespot.com/all/news/news_6025862 .html
Norton Antivirus 2004 has Spyware protection. ...............
Even though weatherbug might install itself through unkind methods (faking windows update things and such) the program itself is NOT spyware.

I mean if you really want to copy a GUI why not look to Mac OS X?
Because MS doesn't sue when you copy XP and Apple does.
