    That's not true, some of the best animes I've seen have been filled with sexual confusion. Although admittedly, they take this to a level Hollywood would never dream of aiming for.

    A better analogy would be that the VCR is the internet and MySpace is people recording themselves talking about inane stuff and exchanging the tapes with others. If there's something about that I don't "get", I'd rather stay ignorant.

    I don't think it is the form factor, or atleast it isn't for my 17" MacBook Pro. (Nor the 15" i guess) A few weeks ago Apple updated the SMC firmware which handles amongst other things the cooling. Although it used to be somewhat warmer than I would have expected, the fan is now more active and it is much cooler.

    When the SMC was being updated the fan was going at full power, and I was almost expecting it to take off. So they either tried to make the macbook run too quietly and/or the firmware had some bugs.

    I don't think Tycho would like you redefining the meaning of words he invented. Bullshot is used to describe a 'screenshot', and not afaik benchmarks, etc.

    A certain scanlation group has already done something similar with Vulgar Ghost Daydream and Tenjou Tengen, so it is not a not idea. Their release included html pages with javascript that allowed one to view the english translation.

    IANAL, but from what I know (some) countries do not consider it derivative works iff the database was manually copied. The compilation is copyrighted, the facts arn't.

    I haven't read about it in detail yet, but from what I've gathered the virtualized OS does not have permission to call the virtualization operations. Thus you should be able to detect if the OS is virtualized by trying to call one of those functions.

    There might also be some flags you can read, dunno.

    Perhaps the commission was expecting MS to produce proper documentation, rather than try to guess how close to useless they could get while still being in compliance.

    No, the part about 'if they comply right away' was supposed to end in the beginning of february iirc. They didn't, dragged some foot, released some gibbrish, and now they need to pay the daily fine imposed on them starting from the end of 2004 til now.

    4chan has a stricter policy than some other sites, like 2chan, etc.
