    Actually Tolkien called luck in the case of the end of the Lord of the Rings a eucatastrophe or a good catastrophe. There is a bit of all of what you mention tied up in that idea. Ted

    There is a 16 hour making of documentry that has been made, and from what I have been told there will also be a rather large extra-special edition of these films. There are scenes which were scripted and filmed for TTT that did not make it into this edition.

    When posting something like this, a bit more details and less inflamitory language would be nice.

    How is it a Super-DCMA law? How exactly will this treaty effect us.

    Just reacting like this tends to be counter productive.

    You know what... I'm going to agree with you here... What is life and culture? I would argue that it's the ability and the results of discussing things which are not required for the continued survival of the race.

    So, Thanks very much, I have a life, and part of it is an experment in virtual worlds and the political systems in them.

    Tablet PC doesn't run Windows CE. I have both a Palm and a Compaq TC1000 Tablet PC. Get the T3. Trust me.

    I know it sounds wierd... but people need to realize that watching TV is not a right. And the producers of programs need to be compensated for their production.

    Do you want the governemnt to get larger and create more regulation? Do you want free TV? If so then expect commericals. Expect product placement. If you don't then purchase your TV channels. Or just turn the silly thing off.

    Read a book. Perferably a classic... but that's another topic.

    But I didn't spell a domain name incorrectly, someone else did on their website in their URL. And actually they didn't misspell it, they spelled it correctly, the site is down becuase they failed to pay to keep their domain name registered.

    I have a wireless lan card and a CF card in mine. Then again I have the Sony Clie which isn't a Pure Palm. Then again neither is the Treo, or at least it wasn't initally designed to be a Palm it was designed to be a Handspring.

    Palm (while having a nice software base) is not even close to what is available for PocketPC.

    Can you provide data to back that up? I've heard the exact opposite. I'd love to see your source?

    This is perhaps a better project and it would be interesting to see this tool run against the source.

    ummm, that's not how they calculate profits. You need to consider that a movie's budget doesn't include the distribution channel or the advertising costs. This means that Hulk probably didn't do all that well.

    DNA supports sexual reproduction of mammals. And the process through which this takes place is supports a Leisure Suit Larry like enviroment. Perhaps you should consider playing. For complete results insure subject has matured for the appropriate number of years before playing the game.

    There are several reasons that I think this device will be the future of PDA's. 1. Same form factor as a pager. 2. Keyboard which is useable 3. Add a cell phone and a bluetooth headset, and you are golden 4. add a small large capactiy removeable/semi-removeable media and it will be even better. The Pro's for this device: 1. Memory, more memory than any other Clie. 2. Bluetooth + 802.11b = YEAH! The Con's for this device 1. No Hotsync station (but it does have a USB port!!!) 2. No Portrat mode!!!! (WTF, are you insane) ok random thoughts done.

    Actually I love the Photoshop UI. Especially on a Dual 21 inch monitor setup. But then again the UI needs at least a 21 inch monitor. I've used it on a 17 inch and that was bad.
