Your concerns about the judiciary system are warrented though but I wonder if that will ever be too big of an issue that we have to deal with.

It really is probably the fact that you played on the PC. I'm not a big FPS fan anyway (Rainbow Six is my exception), but on the Xbox Halo was just fun. The single player was difficult and time-consuming, but not really too hard, but the real beauty lies in the multi-player. You can start playing with 4 people at 11pm...blink...and it's 4am. You're other reply said something about stategy and that's also a real big part, when playing teams (even FFA) strategy comes into play so much more than most other FPSs out there.

I used to work for a company where (originally) my sole position was the $8/hr. Indexing specialist. It was my job to read all the Search Engine news and other junk that was going on so our website would be ranked higher than others.

The only thing I can say for trends is that Google is one of only three that still offers free submission into their indexing survice and that most of the other search-engines started struggling to keep people coming to their site when they started requiring people to pay to be listed with them.

This is another ploy to add a User-friendly item to an Index that just isn't as robust as the competition...namely Google. If all the SEs would stop requiring Joe Smallbusiness paying $150+ in order to submit their website than maybe their listings would have better information and people would start using them again. Maybe it's too late though because Google really is a sweet service.

I could have done without Moore's commentary over Bush's classroom visit when the WTC was attacked, but nonetheless, that "seven minute segment" is something everyone in the country NEEDS to see.

Maybe it's because I live in Washington, but the whole city shut down. People stayed glued to the TV for hours. Me...I heard the news and went back to sleep until I had to go to class. So Bush's "seven minutes" is no more odd to me than the people who watched the TV in silence for hours.

I haven't seen F911 and don't plan to because I've heard (from both conservatives and liberals) that 1: It was slanted (as expected) but 2: There were presentation problems (such as splicing 5-6 different Bush speaches to make it sound like he was saying something else at one given moment). I've got nothing against opinions and sharing those opinions, but giving half-truths and thin theories isn't a good way to present your arguments.

I taught a MATH 051 course my last year of college. This class covered nothing harder than learning how to figure percentages and doing basic conversions (ft. -> cm. and such). And yet of the entire 18 students (it was a small school, but this was one of 4 different sections of this class) I think 2 finished with a grade higher than a B.

I asked them what they did when they went shopping and saw "20% Off"? Did they automatically assume they were getting a deal? And one girl told me that of course it was a deal because it was 20% off!!!

I further questioned if they had ever done this type of work before and they all said yes in High School but not one of them could "re-learn" the information they "learned" in High School.

With the emphasis of these students to go to college our school systems have completely neglected to give any of the students a basic knowledge of arithmetic and other required skills to survive.
