+1 to this idea. My wife died last month suddenly and unexpectedly. Though in this case I do have her password, but I am keeping her account open so everyone can post and see her pictures and remember the good times. It helps.
You need to unplug your modem and your network cable. Please place them both on a bin and send them down the belt. Please DO NOT place any items on top of the modem. Place all other items in a separate bin.
Some days I wish we could just dissolve the DHS. Remember when it just meant department of human services? Those were the good old days.
For high school, sure limit what they can use. For college, dang man STFU. These "kids" are actually adults paying to be in your class. Let them take notes however they want. If they surf or game instead of note taking then that is their loss and will reflect their grades. I suspect these are not core classes and more like requirements or electives that the students don't really want to be in to begin with.
I'm still not sure why all these professors want to act like draconian high school teachers. What are they going to give some detention next and have them bang chalk dust out of erasers?
I never liked EQ because I thought the graphics were weak. I suppose it was hard to do 3d and compete with the neat-ness of isometric. I was a huge Ultima fan and played both the alpha and beta for UO. I played through its hey day up until a point where the servers crashed, restored from an older backup and when I logged back in to refresh my house (yes you had to log in every so often to do that) it was gone with all my stuff. That was the last time I played UO.
I had played the WoW beta and thought it was EQish but a step in the right direction. After I quit UO I eventually picked up WoW (a little late to the game post release) after my friends went there. It was very confusing at first going from 2d to 3d. I've played off and on through both expansions. Done endgame work from the first raids to the recent stuff. I really like the lore of warcraft which helps make the game a winner for me. The best thing is while I liked the housing and economics of UO, I don't have to log on at a regular interval to keep my stuff from vanishing. I can play whenever I want. I tried some MMOs along the way (the LotR one, EVE online, etc). I will prob try the Lego MMO when it comes out just for fun. So far nothing as been was well done as WoW.
They don't neglect to build visually stunning and usable objects. Yes the secrecy gets annoying, but on the flip side finding out about some new product and then finding out it will launch in two years is pretty annoying as well.
Of course other countries have mobile networks that all use the same frequency and technology. Only here in the US are we blessed with 2 diggerent HSPA frequencies and CDMA networks. I suggest the CDMA networks change over all their towers and join the real world.;)
If NASA had more money and would actually do something maybe private companies would not be outpacing them. Oh I forgot space exploration isn't funded unless there is a political race against a foreign power. God forbid we do something just because we should...
Well first thing there is no problem here since the people are obviously properly reporting the taxes and paying them quarterly or annually when they file their taxes for all of their online purchases where tax wasn't collected. That is the law, taxes are requested no problem. If people don't report them it isn't Amazon's problem.
Secondly who cares what a bunch of pulp based aging news sources thinks. They should give up and move along with with Rupert.
I'd think any true geek out there would appreciate the mechanical complexity of a quality watch (read: not quartz). Granted they are more jewelry like than actual time reference objects, but when you get out of the low end you can appreciate a lot of fine horology!
Excellent response. The only gap I can see is a requirement that any navigational device be located in a specific area. This is one difference between the built in GPS and any add on. I am making an assumption here that the automobile manufactures have requirements on GPS display location. If not then they should.
Would the judge not just find them in contempt if they were doing it in the courtroom?
Another question, can a juror ask to see a law book or reference from a quoted case? Jury duty would be a lot more fun if jurors got to pick the cases that interested them instead of being picked by lawyers as ones that would rule in their favor.
Isn't the real fix that we improve the countries they are outsourcing to until the economy there demands the same as US salaries? At that point geography becomes the benefit instead of dollars and they want to hire the guy closer to "home."
I'm pretty sure that was f-in hilarious!
you can't put a price on cool. Damn I miss the .com days. So sick of business getting cheap.
Exactly, what if (horror of horrors) they change to an alphabet based written language??

Also my condolences as well.
and if you want someone else deciding when to block it for you to "protect you"

I thought this was going to be about them calling you redundant and then hiring someone in India or China to do your job.
this is to ensure writable BDs for future formats are not compatible with read only ones (read: consumer movies) in the name of copy protection.
People want to eat food that is tasty....film at 11.
Anything that annoys scientology is automatically a plus in my book.

Can't say I've heard of 'em. Next....

If they were released during the winter i'd say that is the dance you do to keep warm waiting outside in line to buy one.
It's a swipe to the right

Aluminum and glass are recyclable too I think I'll stick with them instead.
