I've been using 7 since it launched, or close to it, and really have not had any problems with it. I don't mind using it, I don't need to do anything special to maintain it and all of my games run well on it.
Once 7 is no longer supported by software manufacturers (read: the games I want to play won't run on it), I will make the jump to dual booting Windows 10 with whatever flavor of Linux is the most popular, and then using it as my everyday OS.
> Iron fist I never even watched so I guess I can't be too sad that is gone as well.
You're not missing anything, Iron Fist was terrible. Let's cast someone with no martial arts skills in a role as the world's greatest martial artist, and while we are at it, let's make sure they are anything but a compelling actor. But hey, we got his race correct!
And not all games treat loot boxes in the same way.
Gambling is a chance to win back more money than you spent on the gamble, which is impossible to do when the money is converted into a loot box that is guaranteed not to contain more money than you spent on the box in the first place.
Loot boxes are a way for gaming companies to make money via microtransactions from people that know that the contents of the boxes are random, and may contain something they want, or may contain something they don't want, and are frequently irrelevant to the outcome of the game as they are only cosmetic.
The politicians are acting like this is betting on horses or going to an online casino of some sort.
Having just moved my desk in the office to somewhere *away* from the front windows, I don't want any more natural light!
Sitting up in the front of the building, you catch a real nice glare in the morning from the sun hitting all of the glass and chrome out in the parking lot and then again in the afternoon. That sunlight is like a laser beam, and it tended to come right through the holes in the blinds even when closed.
No thanks! My current corner of the office is much darker now and I am much happier for it.
I'm not sure how much longer they are going to keep it up, but I just took in a UPS tonight for recycling and mentioned that I had removed the battery, thinking I would have to take it to a Batteries Plus or something. Nope, the customer service rep said they take all kinds of batteries, any that are rechargeable.
I personally very much appreciate the chance to recycle virtually anything electronic there at no charge whatsoever.
I know they will no longer take monitors or TVs for free, but I don't know of anywhere that does.

...but I give it no more than a day before the information is out on how to disable them, which update to remove or which registry key to alter.
Popular Mechanics, apparently:

Words that I hope to never utter.
My creativity is being stifled while I perform such tasks as driving home from work and gaming!

Also, old news, this came out in December.
I don't know that I like it better than my G403, though, and possibly even the other way around.

Quick! Now is our chance to take them all out at once!
Tom Clancy's The Division 2
Both in the context in which it was meant and also the fact that this actually happened, which was obviously going to require an apology.
Strangers coming into the house while I am not there... Yeah, right.
I have relatives that I won't let in while I am not there, let alone some anonymous delivery person.

Even though 'octopuses' or even 'octopodes' are etymologically correct and 'octopi' is not. It just sounds better out when said aloud.

Hugh Jackman? Hugh Laurie? Hugh Grant?
Then some of those people will have to become skilled labor, of which there is a massive shortage (at least in the U.S.).
AI is not going to replace pipe fitters, plumbers, HVAC installation and repairmen, carpenters, electricians, etc. etc., at least not any time soon.

I will never purchase or use one of their products. Ever.
