In addition to more thrust, the engines are more-forward located. Additional thrust causes the plane to climb at a high angle, lessening lift until a stall is probable. The software causes the nose to point down prevent a stall. Down right in to the ground it seems.
Nearly impossible. Almost all of the electronic components are made in China now. I'd say nearly 100% of the TVs, cellphones, a lot of the home appliances, pretty soon, Chevy passenger cars.
How can we buy electronics that are not made in China?
Our U.S. companies have shut down manufacturing and moved it to China in the majority of consumer products.
I understand what the total cost has increased to but how much money is going to be thrown down the hold on the Merced to Bakersfield boondoggle just to finish it?
My sister lives in Bakersfield and there is absolutely zero reason she would want to take that stupid train to any city between Bakersfield and Merced.
What's worse is the stupid California voters voted for this thing (yes, I know they only allowed 10B).
There is no way in hell one can bury all of the high voltage power lines in California. There are just too many of them and they are in challenging terrain (rock, tree roots, over water for example).
With the major electric company for California filing for bankruptcy, what is next?
Do we just stop "doing electricity"?
One cannot guarantee a power line will not fall and cause a fire. One cannot guarantee a tree or a car or whatever will knock down a power line. Also, the costs of the lawsuits don't get paid by the good fairy. They get paid by the *users* of the service.
If the government takes over electrical distribution, will it be better? Will they shut off the electricity every time there is wind or a storm?
It's easy to gripe.
What is the alternative to PG&E distributing and producing power?
Airports aren't mandated to use TSA. Some airports (San Francisco International for example) have private organizations performing the passenger screening.
I have to agree with this. Manufacturers of peripherals don't usually provide Linux drivers for their products.
There are some generic drivers but their functionality can be limited.
I found this out when I tried to connect my Canon wireless printer to Linux.
No drivers for the scanner in the printer for example and only basic printer functions.
At a higher cost.
I'm puzzled why plant based meat substitute costs more than beef.
Beef is a very inefficient food to produce.
Larry's not running Oracle anymore.
Mark Hurd is their current hatchet man.
They will likely find a way to tax the rain.

Does anyone think Trump will allow this to pass?
After all, he did put Patel in to power. Would he sign a bill that disagrees with Ajit's position?
Over-complicated, failure prone vehicle.
When this one fails, it's going to be bad. No repair, no parts, no support. Poor build quality.
Yeah. Buy a car that you can't see. Just buy it online.
I hear the moon is full of cheese.
Cheeeese.... (where's Wallace?)
Next headline: "NASA plans to mine cheese on the moon".
Lame-O's
Maybe if they launch something called "Sputnik" it would cause NASA to get off their lazy asses and actually do something.
NASA couldn't find its way out of a paper bag nowadays.
Bureaucratic money pit that has accomplished near nothing in decades.
Next, "let's go to Mars".
Yeah. Sure.

No soda, no dish soap, no salad oil, fresh meat, frozen vegetables, fresh vegetables (packaged).... it goes on.
Take a walk down the aisle of a grocery store and see how many food items are packaged in plastic.
Now eliminate all of them from the shelves of the grocery store.
That's what you'll have.

Exactly.
Most government jobs I've seen are slacker jobs.
If one has skills and wants money, they don't work for the government.
It's a haven for liberal arts graduates.
If they're so good, then they can get a job in private industry and make much more money then.
Airports aren't mandated to use TSA. Some airports (San Francisco International for example) have private organizations performing the passenger screening.
Same here. I'm running Win7 on 4 systems with updates off.
Been doing it for a few years. Typically, MS updates either decrease performance or break things (or give you an OS you don't want).
When I can't use Win7 anymore, it'll be Linux.
"Straight out of college and a non techie".
Yeah, let here decide :-^
I'd opt for a refurbished Asus laptop. Price would likely be under $500 US.
To start with, HP doesn't actually make any PC products (laptop or desktop). They ODM the products to third party vendors and slap their name on them.
It's been decades since HP actually made a PC.
In the past, the desktops were manufactured by Asus. Wistron and others have manufactured their laptops.
Their consumer level quality is well..... just read the reviews.
Monetizing Youtube has caused a lot of sensationalist garbage to be posted.
I liked it better when it was home movies.
My niece was a straight A student.
She actually couldn't change a light bulb in her room without help.
One time, she admitted she "didn't know how many ounces were in a pound".
She can't cook.
She's a math teacher in high school.
We weren't allowed to say one of our computers "caught fire" at my company.
It was a "thermal event".
Clarification: Hsinchu is not all fenced off, only the development TSMC and associated areas. They call it "Science Based Industrial Park".
