the winning factor of consoles at the moment is that each vendors model (which they usually keep around for a few years) stays *exactly* the same, if we have these machines with varying specs like you say then it's just going to throw everything into disarray.
I like what is happening at the moment and I think that it works very well.
Considering the rock bottom cost of each console, the outlay on a Playstation or Nintendo ontop of an XBox to play the latest games for that console is cheaper than the entry level standards based model you suggest.
I don't think you understood everyones Antenna suggestion, you don't actually connect the wire to the phone, just another aerial in the basement which the phone should use as it would a cellphone station.
Have you used bluetooth through walls before? In my real world experience it does not work at all, infact bluetooth hardly even works in the same room when there are many obstacles.
I'm not sure about you but there is a law coming in in our country (New Zealand) where sure "Yak and Drive" is illegal in the sense that you cannot be holding a telephone, there is no reason why you could not use handsfree however (seeing as the whole problem is that people usually only have two hands and you need two of them for driving).
The fifth and sixth results look like something you would want to investigate for sure!
Most, however, appear to be geared towards serving a local network. This makes alot of sense considering the bandwidth problems over the public internet as opposed to a slick local connection ala 100Mbit switch.
I think you need to take some time to teach yourself what TFTP really is :-)

Try researching your statements a bit further next time, buster :)
MGM Music

you obviously haven't used bluetooth in a real world environment, it's no quite as fantastic as the marketing departments would have you believe :|
We call flats, flats in New Zealand and we're on the other side of the planet from Europe in a greater area sometimes known as Oceania :)

man-o-man
you are the only one that has mentioned that this authentication system does not actually work in anything other than Internet Explorer
here I was wondering what the hell was going on when I was using firefox to download something
but I don't know if I could read a whole book about the concepts mentioned here.
*phew*
Many thanks for the effort but my download stopped at 7.something MB
:)
I think I'll try some of the German mirrors mentioned in some of the other comments

they don't exactly wear tutu's but it is nice all the same
and it is not just some panzy "rub on the shoulders" either, it is a full neck/mid to upper back massage
very amusing! :D
...but that link seems to be a bit hosed so I couldn't even find the link to the trailer :(
After a wee bit of googling I figured this is it though
Half Life 2 (c) Valve *READNFO*
Half-Life 2 (c) Valve *EMPORiO FIX*
Half-Life 2 (c) Valve *OFFLINE ACTIVATION PATCH*
Half-Life 2 (c) Valve *EMPORiO FIX* *REPACK*
Half-Life 2 (c) Valve *ONLINE PLAY METHOD*
The above suggests that some time between the 16th and 17th of this month you could, in actual fact, have been playing it
weeeeeeeeell, if it was, what would you do?
link here
Thanks for the link!
all it does is detect the cellphone...
