It could have been the best phone made to date. Has some really cool features, but a few annoying bugs. Motorola seems to have completely abandoned this phone; never released a firmware upgrade. Even though the phone is a Linux phone, you can't install any linux apps on it. The only applications that you can download are java apps.
You're assuming that he was absolutely sure that that was the only secret that River gleamed... She might have had a ton of other secrets in her head...
I respect your opinion, and we can disagree on this, but I felt that the ending was poor, and the villain's change of heart really cheapened his character.
I really liked it until the last 3 or 4 minutes. I hope that they change the ending before the final release. Having the bad guy behave the way he did at the end cheapened the whole 'believe in something' theme that they were trying to push throughout the movie. It was totally weak for the guy to change his entire world view based on one unsubstantiated news clip. Other than that, I thought that movie kicked ass.
Then you might be surprised that I supported McCain in 2000 and had to flip a coin to decide between Bush and Gore. I actually preffered Bush in 2000 except that I didn't want him appointing another Scalia or Thomas clone to the SCOTUS. Of course 2004 was a different matter. My main problem with Scalia is that he lets his religious views bias his decisions in obvious ways, like supporting the teaching of creationism is science classes under the guise of state rights.
I run HL2 on a Saphire Radeon 9500 (unlocked to 9700) that I paid $170 for 2.5 years ago. You can get a 6600GT card for ~140 if you shop around, it's plenty fast to run any game out there.
OK, The medical tech is good enough so that Anakin has a cyborg arm, and the general in comment of the droids is little more that a heart, some lungs, and a head surrounded by a robot body. Despite ALL of this tech, Anakin thinks that the Padme will die during child birth unless the dark side power could save her??? WTF, just have her get a c-section.
It came with stereo headphones, and it plays MP3s and Real Audio/Video files. The sound is great. No HD in the phone, but I have a 128MB trans flash card. I still use a Rio Forge when I jog because it's smaller and has an arm strap, but I use my phone for other portable music listening. The built in speaker isn't half bad either.
Agreed. This might start to happen late next year once AMDs FAB36 comes online. Right now AMD simply doesn't have the capacity to supply more than, maybe, 20% of the market. Once FAB36 is fully ramped that will change. They'll be able to supply over 50% of the market.
But can it play the 'Perpendicular' animation?

The Supreme Court justices always ask tough questions of both sides. That's their job. Their questioning usually doesn't betray how they're going to vote.
Seriously, alsmost every new cell phone out there has a crappy camera built in. Why not put in a decent cell phone set up into a decent camera. There's enough processing power and battery life, etc.
The only mention of the place comes from Plato. He was telling a story about an evil, technologically superior force( The Atlantians) getting defeated by the 'just and moral' Athenians. Plato was telling a tale with similar themes to Star Wars, etc : The just and moral will overcome the wicked and powerful.
There was nothing more to it. No other historians wrote about it, none of Plato's contemporaries made any mention of it.
Now, were there civilizations that got zapped by a flood/volcano/earthquake, etc? Sure.
But was there an advanced civilization on an island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean that got its ass kicked by the Greeks sometime between 1200-10000 BC (Depending on if you take Plato's words of 10k years literarly or not)? Doubt it.

That was my first though. He must not have been feeling well.

A lot of corporations have various Excel macro driven internal apps. Would any of them run on OO?

Isn't that the motto of the Assassins conspiracy?

I thought that 'In the Beginning' was awesome. The others could have been better. I hope that the movie does well.
