AMC theater chain is getting "exclusive" movie releases. I dunno what that means exactly, but I am not pleased if it starts turing into a world where I cant see the movie I want, in a good theater I want to be in.
Depending on the posters background, comic books are cartoons. Saturday morning tv entertainment is animated cartoons to a number of people. Check out any book on the "cartoon" industry and it will be about ink on paper/newsprint not ink on cell.
It's fantastically a Roger Corman production. So right from tho openeing credits you know it's MST3K fodder. It was on various p2p netowrks and with the new film , I suspect it will get some kind of underground following for it's badness.
WOW according to IMDB it had a whole 2 million dollar budget (for a 1994 film).
To correct you (as a married man who has to sometimes get a few things from the store) they come in all different color boxes and more often plastic bags. Shades of green and blue IMO are far more common then pink, but this probably has more to do with the fact that ther are about 40 differnt types of pads and at least 9 types of tampons a woman can chose from and if they were all the same color it would make it even harder to tell tehm apart.
"(i.e. the books are mindless and a waste of time)" So are video games, when it comes down to it.
Maybe if you stopped looking down on people for the choice in escapeism they make you might be a better person.
We all (humans) hqave our mindless wastes of time, be they bad movies, romance books, trashy sci-fi/fantasy/mystery novels, even most sports could be called mindless wastes of time.
I have yet to see any of these casemodders understand or bother to deal with RFI they introduce to the environment. I hope the sense of pride is not simply limited to "look at my bling", because at least on the surface it looks way much like the "rice" trend I see with cheap import cars that adds looks but no substance.
But case modders are nothing like the OCC crew IMO. I have yet to see a single mod that tries to address a basic issue of case modding. RFI. That nice big window or plexi. case is cute, but if you are within 10 feet of anything like a TV, cable box, radio, or game console you will see how poorly thought out the design is.
Do you see the OCC crew doing something cool, but ignoring somting important like proper brakes or steering?
Do any of them bother to do anything about RFI? If they fail to account for the basic reason we encase computer systems to start with then the mods no matter how pretty are counter productive.
I seem to remember some people saying the jam sessions scene in Whispers of the Heart may have been rotoscoped (for the details of the players). I dont think it hase been published in NA yet for us to get english credits to see. If you can check it out. Also Heavy Metal (first one) made a lot of use of Rotoscope, I think in that context the best examples were the ending bit when the warrior enters the bar.
Often one has no choice as to the machines they must take care of. I mostly support AIX clusters, but some people insist they need Windows for apache, because they dont want to load down the servers with apache and tomcat.
From what I see in websites, only America is set in the stone age of 6 cd release games. The European version of a 3-5 CD (in the USA) game more often then not is available only on DVD. As someone who lives in North America I have taken to reducing my games from multi discs to a single DVD. Sometimes it's as easy as copying the contents of all the original media to a DVD, other times I ahve to modify the installer files to look for a single disc label.
Small problem with your Xobx thing there, it wouldnt have the games I want to play. And by that I mean the games I bought for my Gamecube that are not ported.
I know many adult games with Xboxes, PS2 units and some with gamecubes. All of hem had stand alone DVD players before they got any of this generation console. None of them use the console for DVD movie viewing. I tried using my PS2 once as a lark (no remote) and IMO playback on the v2 PS2 I have is crap compared to the $60 set to DVD player. It's also region locked, unlike my $60 (from circut shitty) set top DVD player.
I suspect that if $400 is the cost of the machine alone, no controller, memory card, games, or any other thing included, the market for the Xbox2 will be about the same as the market for $400 video cards.
"But Power" is this some new affirmation for overweight people?
What version?
Allready being done:
Ring2
Ju-on: The Grudge
Dark Water
and probably about 50 more horror films have been recently lifted from Japan or will be in the next 6 months.

Sorry, was making a bad Chasing Amy joke. There have been some well done uses of rotoscope and some less well executed.

If AC is 4' something sh would seem tall. Or maybe he was always chasing some cable across the floow whenever she was in the office.

Most of the films any actor has been in have failed to make the top 100.
Jesus loves Dick.

So what everyone is saying is the people doing this are just a bunch of tracers?

I used this new technology called rechargable batteries.
"Where's "Buckaroo Banzai vs The World Crime League"?!!!"
I believe it's been morphed into "Big Trouble in Little China"

You should have spent the money you used on Monster brand cables for a decent video calabration disc.
