    no Linux support... but it's less than a month away... and who knows... if everyone rants on their head they may support it ;)... However, I think the Linux community will find way ....

    IF, and this is a big if, the device is a 'USB mass Storage Device', then Linux will allready have support!

    Don't count on it though.

    Has it ever accured to you that when the TV progs are on a channel that doesn't have breaks in the middle, the TV progs aren't designed with this in mind?

    But to be more on topic, these breaks in the middle of a film really piss me off, with the exeption of when I have to go to the bathroom.

    You're right! Computers should just work(tm)
    And OS X is getting so damn close it's baffeling when you compare it to windows, so cudos to Apple.

    In a comment an Archos spokesman said: "We'll think about implementing that Ogg/Vorbis stuf anyway."

    Bzzt. You mean DVD +RW.

    The + series has multisesion capabilities and that is exactly what you want for you're DVR...

    But can you tell you're DVD to record every episode of foo show and compensate for movements in the programming?
