The last few minutes of 11/26/00 episode of Futurama, "War is the H Word", was cut (in the East) for the certification of the Florida Electoral Votes. Then again, if they had to cut in, the timing couldn't have been better.
** SPOILER ALERT **
Bender had a bomb planted in him when he would say his favorite word, 'ass'. The gang got to him in time, and just as he said 'ass', he screamed the TV screen went blank for a few seconds, and they cut to the Fox News Alert.
Hmmm. Bender says 'ass' and Katherine Harris appears. I liked that doomsday ending best.
The short-lived drama, The Beast, starring Frank Langella. It showed how very close the 'Network 23' universe we are as far as ratings, omnipotent reporters on the air, etc.
Just in time, M$ has released a Mac UberPatch for your IE and Office. You too can have the treasured experience of "the cure is worst than the disease"!
The user may even choose to produce a Tarzan-type yell while swinging in the manner described, which more accurately replicates swinging on vines in a dense jungle forest. Actual jungle forestry is not required.
If they don't get a C&D from one, they'll be hearing from another.
'Farscape Undressed' serves as a visual FAQ (hosted by Ben Browder and Claudia Black, out of character) for those new to the series (the missus and I caught the first FU, and we because hooked on the show), as well as a recap to events leading up to the upcoming season/new shows (they updated the recap for the 2nd FU, to include all the then-new/now-old show).
In addition, there is behind-the-scenes commentary with the producers and the crew. And the bantering between Browder and Black playing off one another is a hoot and a half.
I'm not surprised about the addiction. It was so good for its time, even in its single-player mode, that the military took a look at it to train its troops.
Should we then wait for the papers to show up to warn about possible tornado warning, or an accident down the interstate, or such as that?
(Someone's going to/. the links to the Weather Channel and/or SmartRoutes as a counterpoint. Ha ha and duh.)
The point is that there are times which you need to know what is happening locally, and hoping the story is big enough to carry on CNN isn't going to cut it.
Shame on the Wilmeister for not waiting until midnight GMT to keep the trolls away. Then again, his site's being slashdotted to pieces...
If it is true, then it's very interesting that Robert Duncan McNeill is the director. Robbie was first on TNG in "The First Duty", and Wes and Robbie still keep in contact.
We have two cats, the older one housebound from day one, the smaller one from a rescue shelter. From the smaller one's actions, we surmise she had been a farm cat with her combined acumen of hunting skills, her personability with humans, and her immediate ease in using a litter box(!).
We bought a small fur-lined mouse for her to play with, and she goes batting it around, carrying it in her mouth, and dropping it off near us to toss so that she would fetch. She's also been knocking it under the fridge and doors, they meowing so that we'd go and get it.
Yep, she has *us* trained to play with the mouse!
If we set up a face-recognition system, we'd be our little one would be smart enough to out-think it.

The law has the blessing of the state chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union. Larry Frankel, the chapter's executive director, said someone whose material is cut off could seek a court hearing.
Does this mean that the ACLU thinks it's so ineffective, it's not worth putting up a fight?
Actually, JMS said that there were two reasons he decided to do this new show: 1) Complete creative control 2) Big budget. He could make "his idea" of the show a reality.
That's it. JMS already _had_ his SG-1/Andromeda with "Crusade". He is not going to have another tussle with the suits like with TNT.
Older and wiser is the key.
Unfortunately, Showtime is only available in digital on my cable system, so the analog Luddite cheapskate that I am, I'll wait until it hits syndication and/or video.
Spider-man, the Animated Series.
PS - If you really want to be True Believers, then the plot has to move slowly.
At that glacier rate, the movie would take,.... um.... about 27 years.
Am i robbing every other station if i watch PBS?
The cliche for PBS is that you're a thief if you watch and don't contribute. Nice twist.
But what about people who actively boycott sponsors because of show content? Another free-wheeling use of the term 'terrorist'?

According to M$, if you use
IE 5.5 Service Pack 2 or IE 6, the MS01-027 patch is included.

The countermeasure, of course, is to upload Tenser_said_the_Tensor.mp3 into the system.

Should I have known? Yeah, the site was down, then up. I knew the date and all, and I was wracking *my* brain for a AF joke for my friends.
What lent it plausibility after all that?
Berman and Braga.
After last week's pre-TOS Ferengi episode, I'm not surpised about anything they do with the show.

Oh, the possibilities.
* Rachel Leigh Cook wailing on a server with a frying pan, screaming about security holes.
* Unix Sysadmin: "I help sponsor terrorism. Hey, it's OpenSource software."
* Dying rat crawling out of a server room, warning about second-hand coding.

Figure BillG would be flipping burgers if his pre-18 coding wasn't legally accepted by IBM?
