  1. So what has Special Ed has done that's wrong? on US Military Will Soon Begin Testing NSA's New, Post-Snowden Security Measures (dailydot.com) · · Score: 1

    1) Theft 2) False credentials 3) Tampering with national security 4) Placing all Americans at risk 5) International flight 6) Traveling on a voided passport 7) Bartering with items/information he doesn't legally own nor has personally created 8) Terroristic threats 9) Unethical treatment toward his employer 10) Misrepresentation 11) Perjury/breach of oath 12) Dereliction of duty 13) Failure to follow orders. 14) Impersonation of known government officials/identity theft. He's also flirting with, in fact, trying to set up the two main offenses: A) Assisting foreign powers B) Aiding the enemy. Sure, the Constitution guarantees the freedom to share more information in the public, and the right to free speech is great... but NOT when it will cause a danger to National Security. The info Snowjob likely possesses is probably EXACTLY the kind of stuff al Qaeda wants leaked out so they can learn better of how to successfully find ways to kill Americans at will. Not to mention, maybe names and locations of counter-terrorism spies that the U.S. has out in the field infiltrating the ranks of those would-be murderers. People want to complain about the NSA and allegedly "spying" on them, but then they'll also complain about not feeling the government is doing enough to protect them from al Qaeda! The NSA is not "hiding" anything, but they'll be truly ineffective if EVERYONE knows what they're working on. They're not interested in photos of your baby or mom's recipes. Has NOBODY stopped for a moment and asked "why" the NSA has been doing what they're doing? Did people think the authorities use magic to uncover terrorist plots? Which would you prefer, "spying" on you or terrorism on you? Snowflake did what he did for the fame (for the escape from obscurity that everyone wants... although most average people simply use Facebook). http://www.newser.com/story/17...

In a letter to Japan, published in the NY Times, sponsored by the World Wildlife Fund, 21 scientists declared: "Japan's whale research program fails to meet minimum standards for credible science. Also, their whaling is not designed to answer questions relevant to the management of Whales, and Japan refuses to make the information it collects available for independent review. Its research program lacks a testable hypothesis and performance indicators needed for acceptable scientific standards." "While Japan claims the hunt is purely for research purposes, they return to port with hundreds of tons of whale meat PACKAGED and ready for the country's commercial markets. This vividly shows Japan's determination to maintain a "commercial" whaling industry under the guise of science in an internationally protected sanctuary. (Antarctica, established through the efforts of U.S. Vice-President Gore). We can not allow them to continue to flout such international agreements." http://www.stopwhalingnow.com/

  5. It's what makes these sites fun! on Kindle or Not, a Resurgence In Used Bookstores · · Score: 1

Books and libraries, also newspapers & periodicals, are quickly becoming obsolete. With the internet, cellphones, Kindles, Tablets, Blackberries and a few other things... info has become easier and more plentifully obtainable (and more fun) than what a boring environmentally burdensome library or newspaper can provide! Say goodbye to books, especially phonebooks! This is the best example: We're all online reading news websites every day. We don't buy newspapers. This is more fun and more updated and more colourful and less messy and less burden AND it's interactive. We save money and the environment. These days, "libraries" are just about little more than free "internet cafes". People go there when their home PCs are on the fritz or they don't own one. This is the age of technology!

Already, when American companies want their products made, they send them to be manufactured in other countries, like China, very inexpensively... and those people are happy to get the work for a buck an hour (plus, no requirement to provide them with medical insurance).
