    most likely they took it as a way to implement security against the same sort of code in the future. it would be like the government forcing someone to give up their malware code as a part of a plea deal and then using it to create more security. i dont see anything wrong with this as long as they arent using the source code to do its intended purpose.

  3. well, we wouldnt have to buy third party cables if google actually gave us cables with the products we buy. i got myself a nexus 5x when it came out. it came with 1 3 ft usb-c to usb-c cable and no adapter to normal usb. i couldnt even plug the damned thing into my computer until the cables i ordered off amazon got here.

    you can solve this by only buying nexus phones, which are always unlocked.

  6. i just want SLI support for nvidia gpu on linux. you cant really game without either using SLI or a ridiculously expensive gpu. linux gaming wont overtake windows until the nvidia driver support is equivalent.

    while the people above us may not need to know how to do our jobs, they consistently end up either making, or not making decisions that really arent up to them. if we propose a change to one of the systems that we use for programming, it shouldnt be up to the management on whether or not we switch... but they will consistently decide that it IS their decision and then just sit on it for months and MAYBE say no or yes, but often they just sit on their hands.

    pretty sure he doesnt care about people coming to visit... pretty sure he only cares about those with visas. dumb as shit idea, but it certainly wouldnt affect anyone who isnt planning on immigrating here.

    you can USE them without much issue. but you cant actually USE THEM. you literally dont even have the option of turning on SLI while you have multiple monitors unless you are running a quadro.

    no they arent. not only are the nvidia drivers generally shit on linux, but they also dont support SLI.

    nope... ive been testing the windows 10 preview, but it completely bricked itself... it will take a full reinstall. ive been using linux instead. pretty sure the system wont realize that ive been testing it and give me a free copy. that being said, i still have the free copy from my school.

    yea, this is a great idea until you realize that driving the speed limit is as stupid as driving double the speed limit. This would be especially bad if you cant switch it off quickly when you need to make that quick lane change.

  23. only maybe 10% of people on the road follow speed limits... on highways that number is even lower. so the speed limits dont really do anything at all. people will drive at whatever speed they feel comfortable driving... which, in my opinion, is better than some arbitrary number.
