Kinda offtopic, but the newest version of edonkey is.net based. Is it worth it to install all that.net shit (also for future programs). I'm just using the command line version now.
Eternal Darkness is one of the greatest games I have ever played, and i've been in the game scene since the Atari 2600.
This game really challenges your mind.
I havn't finnished it yet, but I believe i'm near the end and its really getting to me, stressing me out a bit. Not because its hard (Which the game is, thankfully not stupid hard) but because of the atmosphere, the music, the noises. And trying to stay alive also:)
The puzzles are also great. Its not find red key #6 and circle rune (ala Resident Evil).
I suggest any self respecting gamer out there pick up a GC and Eternal Darkness.

If the 26 year later janeway came back in time to help the current crew get home earlier with 26 year later technology, wouldn't this not happen with the current crew getting home earlier?
All these web sites start off with a simple idea, and just keep adding more features, and buying other companys. I'm sure yahoo's bandwidth and other costs are just impossible to imagine.
Why can't companys stick with an idea or two and make it better?
I think ID needs to play the Medal of Honor games on the PSX to see how to do another nazi game again. Mutants, Monsters? Yeah, the nazi's did experiments but nothing like this. Doom 3, Wolf 3, Quake 3... Running out of ideas ID?
Will this game come with support for Linux/Mac/Be/Windows in one package? Thats the only way companys should go, otherwise they'll probally get low sales for anything but Windows.
Now if only Blizzard would support linux.
The Dreamcast still has about 100 titles coming out this year. Some current titles that are just excellent are Skies of Arcadia and Jet Grind Radio.
The N64 is nearly dead, with about 3 or 4 titles still coming out. One title I'm really interested in is Conkers Bad Fur day. Remember back in the day when Nintendo didn't want blood in Mortal Kombat? They've kept a strict policy on violence in their games up until Conkers. It just destroys everything Nintendo did belive in. Conkers is also by Rare.
Developers had the choice of using the Sega OS or Windows CE, which were both on the CD. 95% of the Dreamcast games use the Sega OS, the 5% that use WinCE are quite slow.

It will work for Sega because they make some of the best games. Sega will definatly not become another 3DO, ugh... too.. many... army men games.
