Dahl is horrible. Boring unfunny. His old partner though Gary Meier was great. Will agree about Buzz though. Really I dislike the "shock" jocks like Stern and Mancow. But Dahl is not a good counterpoint to showcase actual funny.
Are they any worse than alcohol addicted ones?(yes I realize alcohol is also a drug). Addiction of any substance is not a good thing, but is pot any worse than any of the legal drugs we pump ourselves full of on a regular basis? (Alcohol, caffeine, nicotine, Rx meds, OTC drugs). The problem with your drug addicted teens is not the drugs. Even if drug enforcement worked these kids have other problems and would find some way to escape their problems for a while, like self mutilation or DIY narcotics like huffing paint.
I am guessing that you read all of your PDF files in internet explorer. When using the plug in for IE, yes the pages take forever to draw. It is very snappy though if you download the file and let the regular exe open the file.
I do not think you are giving 5.1 a fair shake. I currently have a 5.1 setup, and no it is not a "home theater in a box". Stereo sound is fine for most DVDs and music but there are some soundtracks that are done really well and convey decent directional sound. It can really envelope you instead of the full frontal assualt you get from a pair of speakers in front of you. A really good example of this is not a DVD but the SACD 30th anniversary of Pink Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon. The multichannel area of the disc is stellar and proves it is more than a gimmick.
yeah when I first loaded the map without tweaking I got about 5-8 FPS with nothing going on. Then when MObs showed up it dropped to total slideshow. Tweaking the conf files bumped it up to 20 FPS but still tanked when MObs appeared
uhhhh....I played that alpha also with an Athlon XP 1800 and an ATI Radeon 9700 Pro with 128 MB of RAM. It was nowhere near playable. Best I ever got was 20 FPS until more than one MOb got on screen then it dropped to 1 FPS. So it seems really odd that you found it playable on a celeron 400 and a Geforce 2 MX
I'm going to complain about the scene where the Power Puff Girls come riding in on three identical My Little Ponies and shoot frickin' lasers out of their eyes at C3P0....
Now do not start giving Lucas any more ideas, he might just use them.
It was pretty popular for Wal-mart when opening new stores in small towns, before they were busted for it.
They still do it. When the Super Wal-Mart opened in my are they were selling cases of Dr. Pepper for $4 until most of the smaller grocery stores either could not compete with the prices or had to go out of business entirely. Now the prices are on average $6.

And suppose I were to buy some Guinness...how the hell else would I drink it? They only sell it in cans!
actually the biggest reason for hangover is dehydration.

and I am sure SOE also does not mind people migrating from SWG to EQ2 when it comes out... they still get cash

Uhhhhhh Mortal Kombat is owned by Midway. Acclaim did some of the ports in the early console days.

Followed closely by Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.
No it did not. I played the original SF for a very long time. It has the joystick and the six push buttons, the same setup as SFII etc...

But what better way to go than warm and fuzzy ;)
Most ppl can notice the flicker of a fluorescent lamp and that's like 100-120Hz (depending on AC).
Actually a fluorescent light runs at 60Hz. The voltage is in the 120 range. Try setting a desk lamp on your monitor.
Actually if you are Chinese its "Mu"
Good thing most of us are not in mainland china ;)
Am I drunk yet?
I love riding through back roads that twist and turn. Oh, and cute women LOVE guys on bikes. ;)
How well does it still run?
I have seen far worse. On Rt 88 in morning rush hour traffic I witnessed someone eatin a bowl of something(oatmeal, cereal, malt- o- meal).
Wow your school sucked I also graduated in 95 and we had Basic, Pascal, and X86 ASM.

Nope. Guinness can also be purchased in bottles
Actually there was. The standard mini disc holds 140 MB of data
minidisc.org
The data side of the format seemed to catch on less than the audio side did(which is not much anyway, sadly)
Two things about install.
One: you do not need a triwing screwdriver you can pick up a 1/16" standard screwdriver from Sears hardware for $3.
Two: Installation without a Dremel is possible if you have a sturdy utility knife. A Dremel would speed up the install.
