    No, communism in theory is faulty. Marx misunderstood such basic economic concepts as profit maximization, value, and growth. It was a bad theory and therefore it failed. Good theories are sucessful at explaining and predicting. Communism was unable to do this and cannot be considered good theory.

    Being a GTA I can tell you the level of immaturity tolerated by the parents of this crowd rises to shock and awe. Brats with a resentful sense of entitlement that cry to their parents on their cell phones when they don't get what they want.

    The Learning Channel did a very nice special about this last year. An archeologist cross referenced the Hebrew garden/creation story of Eden with material from the Sumarian mythical Edin. Moden Iranians have turned the place into a dump, but if you move up into the surrounding mountains it it beautiful.

    People don't want 18 connecting flights. They wan't direct routes. That's part of the reason the market for the jumbo's is shrinking and the market for the 777's is thriving, especialy as you mention in Asia. But since the European's effort is really just a welfare project they don't care if it's sucessful.
