I'ts been a while since I have used Microsoft products but it used to be that Front Page created non standard web pages. Don't know if that is still true.
Using a hacker of this caliber is a double edged sword. If you don't keep him busy and entertained he's going to start looking for something else to do.
Looks interesting, but not enough to fire up boot camp. WoW is just fine for now and you can customize it with add-ons. I was boot camping for Bioshock but since WoW I lost interest.
let it suffice to say that the rest of the world has a bit different view of your army. And of your country. I am a Canadian and I motorcycle tour the US frequently, and I have always been treated with hospitality. I like Americans. The Dutch people to this day honor US military for liberating their country in WWII. The original joke was not bad, let's not get carried away here.
I agree, if the Greek for-fathers of the Olympics saw the circus show their creation has become they would be horrified. It's not supposed to be about money and politics and kicking people out of their homes. http://www.wtopnews.com/?nid=393&sid=1304256
When I have purchased used computers with locked root passwords, I usually boot from disk and mount the filesystem of the machine. Then edit the password file. This you can hire a shop to do this, just prove who you are and why you need this done.
I would like a bigger version of the Cube as a Medium Mac I love the way it opened up, kind of like a nuclear bomb or something. http://www.apple-history.com/?page=gallery&model=g4cube Perhaps in brushed aluminum this time with some cheese-grater type holes in it.
I hate it because it's a scab OOXML carries forward a known legacy bug affecting date and timefor spreadsheets (page 3305-6xxx). This standardization of a famous
old mistake (originating in Lotus 1-2-3) for the stated purpose of
"backward compatibility" requires that spreadsheets treat the year
1900 incorrectly as a leap year. This gives wrong dates according to
our standard Gregorian Calendar and affects other software that
interacts with Microsoft documents.xxxi And that's just the tip of the iceburg.
Patch 2.4 just went live, after patching you must agree to a new EULA not sure of the wording but I'll bet there is something in there that deals with glider. I know that the interface add-ons certainly needed updating, I wonder how glider faired under the patch. In game I have seen players mindlessly running against objects and wondered if they were bots. Interestingly enough WoW has nothing against multiboxing, http://www.wowwiki.com/Dual_box So as long as you are actually playing they are fairly liberal allowing interface ad-dons, macros, lua programming,so I say power to them, jack the glider guy up to the sky.
I thought Phone Phreaking means hacking PBXs and phoning around the world for free. Finding loops or making loops to make a free chat line, making your phone appear to be a pay phone. Stuff like that. What do crank calls have to do with that. When I think of Phreakers I think of someone like Captain Crunch http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Draper
I used to do this on a Unix cluster system that was used for learning Pascal, Unix and such:
fortune-o | wall (then some terminal escape codes to erase my banner)
Most of the Pascal people had no idea what just happened to their program they were trying to edit.
Microsoft does not innovate they acquire, they always have. When IBM approached Bill Gates for an operating system they thought he had, when he only had a basic interpreter, he went out and bought Rdos a CPM clone, and used it to make PCdos. They bought Hot Mail. And here is some more: http://www.microsoft.com/msft/acquisitions/history.mspx
In the begging I played the Scott Adams adventures, then were the Lord British games Alkabeth which preceded Ultima. But the most enjoyed were the Wizardry http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wizardry series from Sir Tech. I also enjoyed Castle Wolfenstien I remmber the word "SS" and "you are caught" sending shivers down my spine. The speech was pretty amazing for the hardware I think you had to toggle the speakers memory location.
I believe that Shadowbane shows you ads when you are killed, that seems ok as you must accept this punishment when you allow your character to get killed. I can not verify this as that the free download is hosted by Fileplanet and the download queue requires activeX to download the Mac version?? So it's not going to happen.
I have overheard conversations like this more than once:
" Hey that iMac looks nice and we are sick of viruses but we have a couple of teenagers, does this run MsM?"
" Well it does sort of but it does not have all the features, but you can use this Parallels or BootCamp."
"Hmmm I see"
Vinyl never went anywhere, and I think it will stay around for some time. And thanks to companies like Simply Vinyl you can get good brand new vinyl pressings in 180 grams. I buy all my music now from iTunes but when I want to really listen to music like on a sunday, I get out the vinyl and crank up the old Quad II. It's a matter of personal taste. You have to listen to the same music on a cd then on a good turntable and decide if the difference matters to you, but if you can live with the way a stand up bass or violin sounds on cd then vinyl is not worth the trouble. But don't get mad at people who prefer analog and call them snobs or luddites and whatever. However I would not be surprised though if aac, mp3 formats replace the cd eventualy.

Believe it or not there are poor people who might like to have your old computer. There are third world countries that could use them in their schools. http://www.epa.gov/epaoswer/hazwaste/recycle/ecycling/donate.htm

He never complained about things not working. He needs to learn fishing for competent developers. Failing that he has to get a more popular platform.

So I'm thinking it will be a few years until we see movie downloads on Canadian iTunes, or mp3 downloads on the Canadian Amazon Store ... Eh!

If Leopard sells on the PC perhaps Mac users will get Game compatibility in return.
