I believe the poster was seeking original games. Although no one denies the creativity put into many of todays sequels and franchise games, they all lack originality. Someone needs to create a new genre. There is one game that is out now or coming out soon, I think it might have been called Savage, that dares to break some of the existing boundries. It merges fps's and strategy games. But even that is just a combination of two existing genres. Hopefully someone will take a risk and put out something entirely new and original in the near future.
You sell the weed for cash, you use the cash to buy groceries etc, and I'm guessing you somehow get enough money in non-cash form to pay rent and bills.
AOL completely overstepped their bounds by reaching into their customer's computers without asking and turning off the messenger service for them. AOL could have just as easily made an executable that would turn off the messenger service and distributed it to its customers along with an explanation of what it is for and a choice of whether or not to run it. I am surprised that AOL has no qualms with completely eliminating any sense of privacy their customers previously had.
I think it is pretty obvious that the guy that wrote this article didn't actually mod that case. The entire article is just a commercial for one product or another, and the description of how he put it together was a weak two sentences that amounted to no more than, "I put it together". I won't even address the issue of there not being any before pictures. I wish techTV would stop being a bunch of corporate whores and start trying to develop quality programming that gamers are actually interested in. It became pretty evident that they weren't even trying to provide quality info when one of the hosts of their shows started refering to a Final Fantasy game as "one of those RTS XPG things".
I bet you find things even Shakespeare himself didn't know about. If you look hard enough, you will see whatever you want. Shakespeare isn't any more complex than any other writer, he has just had centuries of stupid english professors misinterpreting his works.
Don't you think displaying a link to your site (slsahdot.org kind of disrupts the validity of what you are trying to do? It counted me as someone who mispelled slashdot.org, but i just clicked the link. I wonder how many other false hits you have listed?
I'm sorry, i couldn't hear you over your blatant disregard for other peoples tastes and opinions. I'm sure there are plenty of people that dislike whatever music you listen to.
I myself had downloaded the "without me" song from kazaa and thought it was great. I also tried to download several other songs from the new album off of kazaa but all that they contained were the looping chorus. They didn't have any rap solos. I figure that eminem probably released these on purpose to get people interested in his new stuff and then he released the cd early to give them a chance to hear the real stuff. Whatever the reason, it worked. I went out and bought the cd on sunday.
I know this is offtopic, but 420 being a police code is not a myth. My brother got busted smoking pot a couple months ago and it actually said 420 on the ticket. I live in San Diego California btw.
Jesus painkillr... you truely are a jackass. Being bored as hell i decided to look through some of your previous posts and it looks to me like the majority of them are you being an ass to someone followed by you being proven wrong by said person.
why does everyone assume that an alien life form will take the same conditions to survive that we do? Maybe the alien life forms need extreme cold or a different type of air. Or maybe the aliens don't need water.
Maybe its just me, but doesn't quoting 90% of the guys post that your replying to seem a little unnecessary? When you reply to someones post, just type in your reply... I don't need to read the first guy's post over again in order for your post to make sense.
hmm... if youve read the article you would probably know that they aren't shutting down for 2 more months giving people who just started enough time to finish.
I have been an @home customer for several years now, and have found out the hard way that they enforce rules that aren't quite in their Acceptable Use Policy I have been repremanded for uploading over 500 megs in a 24 hour period. I don't remember reading anything about that in the AUP. Recently they filtered port 80 and 25 without any warning when they have specifically stated that they would not filter these ports in the past.
DEAR GOD DON'T SAY THAT!!!! I bought transmeta stock when it was at 47 dollars a share... now it is at 2.76 cents a share.... I can only hope that the tech market will begin to boom again!
I think it is kind of stupid how they get experts on whatever kind of thing they are trying to build to design the machines for them. Anyone can build something. The real challenge is designing the machine to build.
AOL is most likely turning into a bigger monopoly than microsoft. They are partnered up with time warner which controls many major news medias. AOL probably controls a big chunk of the worlds internet access also. Most non computer savvy people choose aol as their isp because of its supposed user friendliness.
I use OpenBSD on my all of my company webservers and honestly, I would never even think of switching. I don't know anyone who would choose any other operating system for a server of some kind.
I think you need to stop thinking of a cell phone as just a phone and start thinking of it as more of a pda, like a palm pilot that you can make phone calls on.
i can vouch for this person's claims.

I saw it in a las vegas arcade at least two or three years ago.

that was the basis of their original ad campaign, "the mark... as seen in the bible"
They left out the most important thing in an operating system... no microsoft code.

We should send This Thing over.
finally, rocket science put to good use!
