    ummm no they cant because you are still limited to 256k or 384k or something of the likes and the huge fat pipe at the CO is going to be able to handle that for everyone that why cable can be much faster because everyone can use the huge fat pipe at the "where ever cable connects to"

    I mostly agree but use what works I'm not saying that M$ office works but don't use Open Sourced Software just because its open use it because its good amity open office and Koffice aren't that bad (I use kword everyday) but MS office is pretty good if you store everything as rtf its got better grammar checkers the spell checker sucks...

    But using something just because it's open is bad use it because it's good and meets your needs

    i have done something close to this it was with a keyboard cut it in half and ran wires between the parts that were cut i still have it and it works

    And the PowerPC and G4 chips, they do have a Mac version, last time i checks macs don't use x86 correct me if i'm stupid, maybe they will code it for PS2...

    The other down side is that you have to have a web connection if you are out boating far enough or flying over barren areas, this will not work. In addition, i do not know too many old toxic waste dumps that have wireless connections... spelunking (sp?) or cave diving it would also be a problem as the large amounts of rocks surrounding you

    Its like purring cats to me think about people who live in the city I have growen up to computer fans i dont hear them anymore but i do hear the hard drive and CD ROM clicking away don't take that away from me thats how i know my system is up

    That would work fine if it was still ATT's domain but ATT lost the domain to some other company so if the other company was nice they would do that but seeing as how they fought for the domain i dont see it as being on good terms with ATT.

    I think that thats a good idea but unless the kernel takes advantage fo the new instructions for the i886 or what ever the new flavor is that will not be any improvment as I think that the kernel is not processor optmised (it runs on everything under the sun) altho the programs you run should be if they take advantage of the new instructions I dunno IANAKH(I Am Not A Kernel Hacker)
