Some ex-Palm employees get together and finally make a good gaming Palm and people start thinking it's doomed?
I got one for my brother and he loves it. Of course, he wired Wi-Fi and Bluetooth into his car, so the Zodiac also works with wireless internet in there and controls Winamp through the computer in it, but he enjoys it nonetheless.
It'd be one thing if I heard people bagging on it like the N-Gage, but everyone I know loves it aside from the early analog stick problems. Heck, the thing isn't even fully launched yet. They don't have enough ready to ship to stores.
The only real games to come out are Party Collection, and Dancing Stage Unleashed. The releases are winding down. The last arcade release was December 25th, 2002.
It's even more sad how neglected the other games in the series are, like Beatmania and Keyboardmania. (Both now discontinued) Guitarfreaks and Drummania/Percussionfreaks found a niche.
My very reliable friend also told me that a DanceManiaX 3rd mix should be coming out soon, though, so not all hope is lost.
The latest arcade release of a dancing game, aside from PIU stuff would be In The Groove./. had some article on it a couple months back. It's almost ready for release now.
I actually have to reinstall XP pretty soon, so my list is ready.
(Sure you can say I'm wrong, but I like knowing I can read all the formats) 1. Everything on Windows Update 2. KaZaA Lite Mega Codec Pack (Includes G-Spot, 4CC and Media Player Classic) 3. Quicktime 4. Real Player (Like I said, it's good to have it when you need it) 5. Trillian Pro (Pay for it people) 6. True Launch Bar (.com, TLB is an overhauled Quicklaunch bar with menus and a bunch of other stuff. I reallllllllly recommend it) 7. JavaRTE 1.5 whatever 8. WinRar 9. WinZip (You need both. The built-in Windows crap is junk) 10. Winamp
That should you get you running on 99% of websites. Since SP2 adds popup blocking, I'm able to fit more programs in the 10 without ALSO recommending the Google Toolbar.
I remember reading Game Players and it had shots of it. It seemed like a great idea, but it seemed a little odd because all the shots were of indoor levels.
Plus the 2D-sprites kinda scare me. I never noticed it in the images, but now that it's explicitly mentioned I can't avoid it. I would have felt cheated if it was released like that. Paper Mario got away with it because his body spun as he turned. Sonic would have just been choppy and floaty.

And his thoughts are flawed. By completing Street Fighter II on higher difficulties, you get to see body shots of everyone, even close ups of the men. It's all fair. Just because the female body is a thing of beauty doesn't detract from the power she has.
Samus being a woman is not a joke, it's a realization that a woman CAN do powerful things and CAN be a hero. It's not an insult, it's something that makes you think.
Some of you people making comments really need to look into what you are saying before you post. Some of the games I've seen that you want already ARE or are in the PROCESS of being ported, like Zelda, Earthbound, Kirby, Mega Man and Prince of Persia.
Heck, Heroes of Might & Magic 1 and 2 were already put on the Game Boy Color.
It's like you guys have no clue about what's going on and just want to fill the void.
The sad part is that if the art was manga-style and these were posted as part of webcomic, it would be considered hilarious. Don't get me wrong, some were funny, but sometimes art dictates the humor for the opposite culture.
You have to understand they are trying to change. This small task is just the beginning of a list of things they'd do before you'd reaccept them. If you can't make a list of things they can do to redeem themselves you hate them too much.
If it ends up as some Dark Alliance/Brotherhood of Steel PS2/Xbox offshoot, I'm done. I enjoy Dark Alliance, but I'll be damned if I'll enjoy seeing Deus Ex stripped down AGAIN.
Not AOL, but Usenet. Many (If not all) Usenet providers have a size limit on messages (even if it is a binary) and not all pieces get through to begin with, so files become a web of pieces.
A bunch of Messages make up a rar. A bunch of rars make up a file. And if you are missing any, pars and par2s replace what you are missing.
This site just screams ghetto. Even though it's a cantonese word, seeing the item descriptions is sad. Then you click to see profiles and your heart sinks to know people actually pay for this crap.
Really, it lacked a lot of things and mainly covered bare essentials.
How can you leave out THE SIMS? I may not be a big fan, but it's kind of hard to miss.

People can be so quick to judge.
Last year at E3, there were 6 stations set up running DX:IW. Four were Xboxes, two were PCs. Right there I knew something was going to be wrong.
If id isn't showing the PC version off at E3, it means the Xbox version is looking more presentable. I'm scared, Dave. It's ruining lives.
After I was disappointed by DX:IW, I'm scared to see the Xbox dethroning the PC version at E3, regardless of the reasons used.
"The latest arcade release of a dancing game, aside from PIU stuff"
Prex3 is just a rehash of older versions anyway.

Konami's Coin-Op offices closed over two years ago. Pretty much every machine except for first mix and USA is imported "illegally" from Japan.

I just made a GMail account yesterday. I'm in the beta. It's kinda hard to beat them to the punch if they're already doing it.

Really. It ran a bit slow on my FX5200/2400+/512MBDDRRAM but I'm still shocked. Really, it's amazing. Makes you wonder why UT2K4 needs a DVD.
They haven't done anything else. They spent 4 years on Eternal Darkness and got right to work on redoing MGS into Twin Snakes.

Nope. I was more surprised to see a fan site than N-Gage 2 pictures. And yes, that sucker is uglier.

That's 200,000 more Xbox fans who now only have to make ONE purchase instead of TWO before stopping from buying everything else.

I'm in shock.
Yeah, that's what he meant. Mario Bros. is basically a stripped-down uglier version of what's included in every SMA game.
Not only that, but they aren't releasing all the titles over here. Mappy Land and Mario Bros. aren't going to see the light of day.
