And here I am, excited that other ISPs here in Australia are finally bringing in ADSL speeds that are faster than 1.5mbit/s. I'm going to go and cry in the corner now.
Free or otherwise I should still be able to have the choice on whether I use a third party plugin for it.
You don't have to if you dont want to, but if I do and I find that useful than I believe I have every right to.
Google has every right to try and deny such things, but it is rather silly. Maybe they should also go ahead and deny searches from any third party plugins apart from Google Toolbar, too? No, didn't think so.
Although it would be interesting to see, there's no way they'd do it. We can test heat shield technology and parachutes here on earth any day. And it's a proven design anyhow. Sending the rover back to have a look at them wouldn't reveal any scientific data that we don't already know or can extrapolate.
I'd love to keep one eye, probably my 'good' eye, after testing to see which is the best, and modify the other to give retinal overlay data. You could look at an object and it would draw an overlay and data on it. Also, the ability to turn this overlay on or off! How about zoom, or freeze frame capabilites all without having your eyes look any different than they would naturally. I know it's a long way off, but that kind of visual enhancement would be awesome. And expensive. And I want it.:)
Thanks for nothing! If I want to use these tools then I shouldn't have to put up with this kind of crap from software companies. It's almost like them installing a virus. They wouldn't like it if I installed software on their machines that denied access to certain things, would they.
Best demo I've ever played to date was the demo for Descent.
7 levels of unside down robot-killing action. And at the end, one bad-ass-boss. That demo was a game in itself, and gave you a REAL indication of what the full game was like. You wanted more.
Yeah, we did, except it went astray and as I recall it probably made a crater somewhere. Not sure whether they ended up finding or not.
Anyway I've been watching the stream for the past hour and a half.. launch time was 6:00 AM here. Time, for, sleep. But happy sleep because all went well with the scramjet!
Keep the blast door, but built the glass dome over it. That way if you need the blast door, just close it. Assuming the door is still operational.
That would be one hell of a way to scare guests. The blast doors start closing. You say they only do that if there's an incoming attack. Guest panics. Hilarity ensues! Although it would probably only work with blondes. But if you have 3.5 mil lying about, you'd probably have many of them about too.
One of the more functional uses of an extra 5¼ drive bay is something like this, a cooler to blow hot air out of your case. At least buying one of these is easier than cutting extra holes for fans in your case.
On page two of the Public Hanging, the text states that "With great persistence and much duct tape, we successfully attached the banners to the building."
Yet more proof that anything is possible with duct tape!
This has got to be one of the better colour schemes. Why couldn't they do as good for games and IT !?
Let me be the first to say, that I for one welcome our newly-covered-up alien overlords!

And how long until this 'feature' is hacked back in...

They probably got annoyed I kept making them ship the things to Australia. I wonder how much it cost them. They make good coasters. :)
Good one guys, you just slashdotted Germany.
EDS what now?
:)
EDS is the acronymn for Evil Day Star. Those of you with less knowledge of things may be inadverantly calling it the sun.
Either way, it's evil, just like the EDS in the parent.
How about here in Australia. I pay AU$79.95/month (at current exchange that's USD$54.53) for 512Kbps down / 128Kbps up. With a 32GB cap.
:P
/sarcasm
Stop complaining about what you get in America. Makes us here feel even *more* antiquated.
[Thanks, Telstra!]
So program food replicators with slight variances! Not enough to make it something different, and not too little to make it unnoticable.
The revolution will be televised, you just won't be able to record it.

I've never played a demo that's beaten it since.
To go Geocaching!
If anyone wants a screenshot of what the page looked like before its hosting server melted through the floor, here you go.

These were taken on a visit to the Chernobyl area by staff of the upcoming game "STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl" (based on the Chernobyl area)...
I could not find the original hosted site, but I had it backed up so I uploaded it for everyone here. It is very haunting. Anyway, check it out:

No. The rover's architecture allows for it to correct single bit errors, but a garbled packet will simply be rejected by the rover.

Kill us maybe, but what if other life thrives off that radiation?

And the tree would branch together the cluster?
