The Wii is twice as powerful as the GameCube. Have you ever seen Resident Evil 4 or Metroid Prime on the GC? No Xbox game looks that good, IMO.
By saying that the Wii has "the power of an Xbox", you are just showing that you know very little about the current generation. Consoles are much more than what the numbers show on paper.
The GP is right: on a normal TV, the 3 consoles will look virtually the same.
Actually, no. Captain America, as past stories have shown, was always about the American Dream, and values. Not about obeying the government. Unlike what most neocons think, there's a huge difference.
Cap has already quit his identity twice - once in disgust over the Marvel version of Watergate, and the other time when the government (late 80s or early 90s, I think) tried to force him to work for them.
The Spectrum's CPU was much faster than the C64's. The latter had graphically amazing games due to hardware sprites, but in terms of raw CPU, the Speccy was faster. Look at games like Driller or Elite, where sprites can't help - they were much smoother on the Speccy.
I think it's simply a case of people being stupid, and only realizing the value of things after they've lost them. OpenSSH is still around, and it's free - therefore, it's "worthless", even though all of them use it, and would have to spend millions if it wasn't available.
They had some kind of weird video RPG story game (it kind of looked like the 80s dragonslayer) that had Thrall as a young orc in a slave camp, and you played him growing up or some weird stuff like that. Weird premise for a game at that time, and they were right to think "no one will buy this it's so 80s, lets kill this crap."
Actually, it's supposed to be a "third family" - not a home console, not a Game Boy, but something entirely different. At least, that's Nintendo's line.
Here's a hint for you: they already do those things way better than "not very well".
The average cell phone, these days, is like a 1993 PC. Games from that time include Dune 2, Doom, Eye of the Beholder, etc.. Sure, they're not Half Life 2, but they're not Snakes or Pong either.
And if you ever tried Opera Mobile, you'd be sold on mobile web browsing. Another hint: it's not like the WAP you've probably seen a couple of years ago (4 lines of text, no more).
The "secular world" isn't persecuting anyone. That's just something Christians like to believe.
When was the last time you saw an atheist mob throwing stones at someone for being a Christian (or for belonging to any religion at all)?
What about politics? Can you reach any position of power while being an atheist, in the U.S.? I don't think so - in fact, talking about God and Jesus all the time is the best thing you can do in order to get elected.
A single Christian in a mostly atheist family is accepted. An atheist in a Christian family? Not usually.
Yes, atheists DON'T want their tax money to be used in promoting religion. So when people attempt that, they fight it. If that's "persecuting" to you...
I only have about 4 N-Gage games, but I also have emulators (NES, GBC, ZX Spectrum), a browser, an ebook reader, email, and some Series 60 games. And I still enjoy it, even though I also have a 6630 (much more powerful, but doesn't fit in my steering wheel, so I can't read when I drive, and doesn't have a decent D-pad like the N-Gage).
The N-Gage doesn't play basic 64k Java games like the Series 40 phones do, you know. Its hardware is more powerful than the GBA.
I still think that if they had skipped the sidetalking version and just released the QD as the first N-Gage, even if it delayed them a couple of months, and if they had marketed it better... oh, and had not allowed the Tomb Raider port to be ruined by an incredibly stupid control scheme...
So, you mean that if there was a new GBA, 100% compatible with the others, but also with basic cell phone functions, it would automatically suck for games - even if they played exactly like in the other GBAs?
He thinks he is a guy and he spits eggs from his mouth. He'd rather be called 'Birdetta'.
:)
What's not to love?

The president has been kidnapped by ninjas. Are you a bad enough dude to rescue the president?
(best. plot. ever.)
On the MSX?

He already did. Google for "Dell Rusk" (incidentally, an anagram of "red skull").

Work for him? NEVER! Either he works for YOU, or he has to die. Simple as that. :)

It was an ADVENTURE GAME! How old are you, 15?
Almost there.
Joe Sixpack believes all software is from Microsoft. In fact, they invented computers, ya know.
Just a correction: pimping your wife (or, indeed, having one) was a Fallout 2-only feature. :)
You mean Citizens United Negating Technology?

Booze.
Play jom-dot, hu-man!
Oddly enough, except for the "smallish", the N-Gage QD fits your requirements perfectly. :)
It's the only phone (AFAIK) with a decent d-pad, though.
No accidents yet. :)
Seriously, here in Portugal rush hours are terrible, so I have plenty of time to read when stopped. I don't read while I'm actually moving.
Sure I do. That's why I waited for the QD. :)

Weird logic...
Pretty poor? Depends on what you mean.
It's more powerful than the GBA - can do decent 3D in software, while the GBA can't. The D-pad is quite decent, too.
If you mean "the games", then, sure, no contest, the GBA has many, many more games.
