And I'm not even Trolling! I am really jealouse, I have been dreaming about a setup like that for a while now! I think possibly the only thing that would be more cooler(not necessarliy more usefull) would be a cellphone/bluetooth card that would alow you to just have a palmpilot, and a bluetooth headset. Possibly the addition of voice dialing like on that stupid ('pet-za' comercial, they work better than advertised btw) that and a bluetooth home phone and car phone, that would switch you between the different phones based on location.
same way as on a Mac, I would assume. Most desktops, though onboard firewire or a SB audigy, use the 6 pin standard (which includes power). It just most laptops use the 4 pin standard, to conserve power.
1) Do you realize ethanol is 90% gasoline, fucktard.
http://www.afdc.doe.gov/altfuel/eth_general.html states: Ethanol (ethyl alcohol, grain alcohol, EtOH) is a clear, colorless liquid with a characteristic, agreeable odor. In dilute aqueous solution, it has a somewhat sweet flavor, but in more concentrated solutions it has a burning taste. Ethanol (CH3CH2OH) is a group of chemical compounds whose molecules contain a hydroxyl group, -OH, bonded to a carbon atom.
And the reasoning is somthing more sociological than scientific. Pure Electric is all fine and dandy in theory. However, lets through in the the human factor, and because California (read LA and Area)is pushing these vehicles the most, we will use that portion of the world. And for people, the DINC, because they are the most likeley to be purchasing an new car.
The Idea is that everyone will recharge at night and, drive to work, finish recharging, then go home and be used to fill local high deman areas. Unfortunaly, what happened almost all of the time is that people go home, at about 5 o'clock, and plug in their cars, and start charging them, so that they can go out that night and do the movie thing, the bar scene, or whatever. Now you have the largest peak consumption time in the day growing to an even higher peak. This ofcourse has made the power transmission/generation shith their collective nickers. This makes the problimatic california even more so. This is one of the reason the major companies have stopped pushing it.
This still dosent bother CARB, even though the most in-efficeint sources are used at peak loads. These sources would be coal-fired steam plants in wyoming. Which is fine for california, they have moved their pollution across state lines.
The key is using state of the art stuff and non petrolium sources in conjunction. Current market level stuff uses brushless DC drives...ICK! Now here is some truely cool stuff.
You can still get 0 RPM with AC, you just dont get maximum torque. With an Induction machine, you just endup running with a slip frequency of 1 (or 60 Hz)
Actually, In canada (I am an american, but I'm married to a canuck) anybody can rebroadcast anything. the deal is tho, that they can not change it, cant remove advertisments, cant shorten, lengthen, commentary over it, or put up their logo. kinda a neat idea.
Micron Technology Inc., one of the nation's biggest maker of computer memory chips, said it, and other companies, are being investigated by the Department of Justice for alleged "anticompetitive practices."
the key part is "it, and other companies" I firmly belive that micron will not be involved as a defendant, but as a witness and support of the FTC seeing how they pretty much told RAMBUS to eat their shorts and got the FTC involved in the first place.
I do have to say tho.....I will never sheetrock, it is my living hell, besides it takes me about 10 times as long as the contractor, and about a million visits to the chiropractor. and if your getting a textured wall and ceiling, they will usuaully do the rocking for a fraction of what it would cost you to do it because they get all their materials really cheap, and already own the lifts, and are practiced at it. Besides, most people put the sheets to close to each other, and they cant mud properly between the sheets.
My other big one is insulating, but i would do that. I sure a s shit wouldnt pay $55 dollars an hour for a couple of carpenters to do it. It is just probably the most annoying experince, but its easy enough to do. a brain dead monkey could do a half good job. I could probably do my own wiring and plumbing, but I dont know if it would be worth it if I had to take time off work, because I'm sure they could do a quicker job of it.
pizza and bigmacs go along way to fuel anybodys drive.
she ordered boilding hot water pored over coffee grounds. Water boils at 212 degrees, the coffee was at 185 degrees. yes that can burn you. tough shit, she placed the container (styrofoam at the time) between her legs, then proceded to remove the top, causing the container to colapse. yes, I feel very badly for the lady, however I think it was her resposibility to relize that her behavior might have painfull conciqunces.
your think about a different kind of fiber, the stuff that can be tapped that way is plastic or some derivative and can handle being bent so that it leaks. long distance underwater finber is glass, and has a very large bend radius, that I doubt leaks light
I used to sell home and car(and install) and I have some great stories. Tho one of my favorites is I had a customer that claimed he could hear the difference between different colored fiberoptic cables;->. that or the guy who's car I installed. 3 MTX amps. one was rated at about 10A of continous draw and 40 peak.....the others were like 20 A continous and about 60 A peak. he was driving two kove audio 15's and a set of fronts (focal?) and his alternator output like 65 amps at peak RPM. to battle this he had us install a 15 farad cap. still dosent solve the problem when he is a full volume for a long time. but he loved to cruise at about 15 MPH, and full volume with his AC on. we kept telling him he needed a new alternator, didnt belive us. finally boom goes the alternator, and takes out 2 of the amps, the head unit, and both front speakers, and one of the 15's.
actually I dont think they have to know more than they already know about their own filesystem. IE, they already know how to store, read, and modify existing files on their file system(flash, hd, whatever) and when you transfer a file, you can do it in a filesystem transparent way. You might not be able to transfer to say a HPUX filesystem on a fire wire hard drive, but you might if the microcontroller supports some sort of firmware interface. I would bet tho that vfat and fat would guess. I would guess similar to FTP in the sense that my windows box can ft from UNIX machine without having a clue about what the file system is. however, something needs to support the interface to issue the commands, and orgonize the files on a hard drive. or deal with existing
I hate to be a troll, and I know I will get flamed or down modded for this but here it goes:
I uncheck sigs, so that I dont see redundant information in posts, and see peoples innane(usually) comments. why put it in every single time? I guess my options are to scrolll by every one of your posts or set you to permantly be hidden. But that really doesnt get to the questions, why are you so obsessed with posting this link?
I havent really seen a clear list of what BE's case is...I would love to know because I think that the DOJ is truely scrweing the pooch on this one. I personally think that MS should be able to include IE with windows (I like to buy my car with wheels included). However, I dont think they should be able to keep OEMs from installing alternative browsers, or OS's and I think they should be responsable for shitty software(oh...and the BSA can eat my ass). And I also think that MS should have to fully document their API's as used by IE, outlook, Office...etc.
go to:http://uk.eurorights.org/issues/cd/bad/ and read: * "druqks" by Aphex Twin: Reported protected by key2audio in Germany by several people. Can't be played on a computer or laptop, nor copied to MiniDisc or a hi-fi CD recorder. UK release appears to be unprotected. Also reported unprotected in Belgium and the US near the bottom of the page,
I think that should disquallify him for atleast some of this great praise of "adding value, not copy protection"
ummm....I think you miss read what he was saying. Ithink he was trying to say this was a good thing....reuse/update/adapt old equipment as neccessary, dont redsign/replace/get new equipment
MY god, I was begining to think that only I could tell the difference from 128K to 256K and up Encodings. I have a hard time(probably impossible) telling the difference between 320 and 256 for most stuf, but classical really shows it, aswell as really good punk. Now I wish I could use those extra 4 bits that NOFX tacks on for the HCD(or whatever its called) standard(requires a proprietary transport and DAC I belive)
they have definatly improved, I had a gateway, A Dell, and a Gateway. I have to say that the dell has as many issues with chrashing, whoever the gateway has had more DOA or warranty parts (monitor, video card fan, and a mouse) I RMA'ed everything (including the 5 dollar MS mouse, and had 100 percent success rate with the gateway service people.
And I'm not even Trolling! I am really jealouse, I have been dreaming about a setup like that for a while now! It doesnt, there is just other ways to overclock a a sync chip, like overclocking, which usualy leades to needing significanlty more cooling power.
same way as on a Mac, I would assume. Most desktops, though onboard firewire or a SB audigy, use the 6 pin standard (which includes power). It just most laptops use the 4 pin standard, to conserve power.

I would say that does not inclue gasoline

actually, the whole, maximum torque at zero is only true for DC machines, when they are heavly series wound. like a starter

those are nice facts and all but:

I think youd be wrong to still, rember light is an inverse square law. so ...it will get exponentially dimmer
at 20 khz it not as big of a deal as say 2.4MHz

the problem is that it wasnt release in the US with copy protection, it was released in Germany with copy protection. which I blevive is not Sire

thats because your tax dollars subsidize the entire brodcast industry ;->
