  1. You're Wrong on Life After the Video Game Crash · · Score: 1

Speaking as an avid and famous video game player, the game industry is already dead, but can be revived.

A ton of games out now are repeats of old games.

Online games are the only ones that can have obscene profit margins.

No one has yet made an action paced game MMOG

Throw in "Saturday morning cartoons" ala cutscenes, and you'll have a hit that may score a billion dollars.

Everyone likes to be playin the same game, because it has to be badass.

Just because the badass bar keeps being raised, doesn't mean a company can't hit it.

Its true that a bunch of computers can simulate a server for a game.

If you have 6 computers transfering information to each of them, you can create almost the same environment that 6 computers feeding off a server is.

If you place the anti-cheat code on every computer, you form a community to check against cheats.

If you also store every character's information on every computer, then you can watch for hacks there too.

Given its extrodinarily complicated, and fails to mob rule(conspiracy of hackers to overwhelm the system)... Its something that could be done.

I'm sure theres even more complicated things you can do with P2P, such as organizing nodes for filesharing and so on.

Lately I've been struck with visions, no lie. I really know the New Testament is truth, Jesus lived, died and was raised again. Some people want a miracle, I've seen miracles.

From my learning the New Testament is true, means the Old is too.

Whats the big meaning of this though?
Instant messaging is a no brainer from the net, its something that is understandably a necessity.

Did we just conquer Babylon? Because I'm pretty sure there is scripture calling for the fall of Babylon... Normally "the fall of Babylon" is interpreted to mean gold is no longer the leader of men, but God is when Jesus returned.

Everyone knows the Scriptures have multiple meanings, like how Solomon built God's temple physically, but really Jesus's body was the temple that was meant.

Jesus came to make all the scripture come true though, so I'm not sure there are any loose ends floating around.

Man, it'd be awesome if people got off the worship of money and loved their neighbor. Somehow it doesn't seem likely thats going to happen in a flash. Interesting stuff to think about though.

I thought the best way would be:
Instead of allowing people to vote via internet, have them show up at the sight.

A limited client is presented, they can only sign up one name while voting happens. A photograph of their face is taken and stored on disk too.

If they fraud with someone else's information, their picture comes up. The vote is cancelled and the real voter can vote... Maybe even use the photo for criminal investigation.

Online voting is just waiting for disaster, but electronic on-site voting can be secure.

And once it works in this country, they can be marketed to other countries as Democracy Boxes or something.
