    That makes no sense what he engineered worked perfectly for many years so his part of the job was fine by an engineering standpoint. What does not make any sense at all is why the executives that ordered the emissions cheating software are not the ones doing the time.

    They just ditched their shovels and I doubt you will find any construction workers that bitch about the "good ole shovel days".
    This is no different if you watched the video yes the robot works faster then people but it also has a considerable setup time for the sensors and lasers that guide it. Also they need people to load it with bricks and mortar at regular intervals as well. So don't go running away from the trades because there's a new tool on the construction site.

    But I appreciate the help.

    But seriously that is one of the problems with cloud providers is accountability if something does go wrong. There was a pretty bad outage on amazons s3 services due to an employee fuckup as well. At least when companies ran their own servers the outage would generally only affect that one company instead of hundreds or thousands.

    You do know that netflix has peering servers at most ISP's already. So for many customers you are only going over the ISP's routers before it even goes across the backbone providers like level3 etc..

    So hes right they are big enough to get around that.

  18. This is sort of by design. The reason they are harvested early is so you don't get over ripe mush by time they ship them and receive them at the supermarket.

    It's also why locally farmed produce is usually better because they can fully vine ripen and still get on the shelves before they start to look awful.

  24. I don't normally respond to AC's but it has jack shit to do with who he is.

    The problem with his statement is the timeline is just not realistic. There are some parts of the puzzle that have yet to be solved such as the radiation exposure and long term physical physical effects of long term deep space travel. A suicide trip to mars is not any sort of achievement and would only add to his list of failures.
