  1. I strongly disagree. I've been in the IT field for 20 years and you would think I wouldn't be able to live without Internet, yet my current house is in a very poorly serviced area so I haven't had Internet at home for about 4 years. After a couple months of withdrawals, I got used to it and became much more productive with my home projects. I also save a boatload of money by not having a data plan on my phone. (Seriously don't know how people can justify spending ~$100 just to have Internet on their phones.)

    Also, get off my lawn!

    If you have the camera on them and they know it, they won't smash heads, but might later when there is no camera.

    If you are recording and they don't know it and they smash heads without just cause, then the evidence can be used to get the police officer(s) off the streets for good.

    What's the difference between a hood and bonnet over there? The only thing I can think of over here is that a hood would be attached to the clothing, whereas a bonnet is a separate garment.

    I know what you mean! I've seriously considered becoming a diesel mechanic, machinist, cabinet maker, mechanical or chemical engineer, etc., but the family needs food and shelter so I'm stuck working with these silly computers until my wife can go back to work. If you don't have family responsibilities, don't hesitate - GO FOR IT!!
