Wow, something must be seriously wrong with me... In the first sims I had the parents go for a swim, then took the ladder out of the pool. Poor little buggers did quite a few laps before finally going under.
"Proceeded to login with other Gmail accounts to ensure this was not a site wide problem. All other accounts worked fine."
He has multiple Gmail accounts, and I don't have a single one. Even more of a kick in the pants: The 3 variations of my e-mail name have already been taken on gmail.
But Doc brings Spider Man to Harry immediately following the train scene, so Spider Man didn't have an option of running home to do his laundry. (I thought the same as you, that he just washed his mask, then I remembered there was no in-between scene.)
Personally, I think Apple should hire the person(s) that keeps reverse engineering it. Then they get a knowledgeable staff member, and don't have to worry about a new version being cracked... At least for a little while.:)
I'd just like to point out that there are obviously a lot of gullible people out there as indicated by the continued success of spammers. This group of people make up the majority of Microsoft's customers, and they should be concerned that someone is offering an OS catered as an alternative to Windows, as evident by the name of Lindows. I'm not saying I'm all for Microsoft going after Lindows for the name, but I can understand why. (I don't intend the comment about Microsoft users to be flamebait. I actually like some Microsoft products, so I would be lumping myself in there as well.):)
Just a nit pick on point 2, Windows XP doesn't have the "Quick Launch" bar enabled by default, so you can't just drag and drop icons to the task bar. You have to Right Click the task bar, go to the tools submenu, and select Quick Launch. Only then can you drag shortcuts to the task bar, and only into the small quick launch area. (Unless you resize it of course, in which case it can take up most of the width of the task bar.)
Have you looked at those shelves of PC Software? Most of it is crap! Everything you need to get work done is available for the Mac. I'm not a Mac zealot; I have 6 PCs at home and only 1 Mac, but most of my "serious" work is done on that one machine.
Holy crap, it's a good thing that I read this comment! I was supposed to be in bed 2 hours ago...
Thank you!
(I'm not joking.)

I can only say one thing:
DON'T TELL YOUR BOSS!
Perhaps it is just a rare, isolated experience, but when I told my boss, he got a funny look on his face and the conversation suddenly died. Since then, he has treated me as though I have a highly contagious disease. The only reason I let him know was so he could understand why I can't do certain things (like juggle 5 tasks at once.) I will always do all tasks at the same time, switching when one gets boring until they are done. Personally, I think this works perfectly for my job, but the boss obviously doesn't think so since he cited my lack of "re-prioritizing" as the only reason he wouldn't recommend me for a promotion. (BTW, he knew about my ADD long before the review, so I wasn't telling him just to try and make an excuse for myself.)
So, unless you have a very good relationship with your boss, and s/he is extremely understanding, do not tell.
The problem is, you have to try different treatments until you find one that works for you. Wellbutrin was one of the first ones I tried and it caused some major anger problems. I then tried Medadate XR at several different doses (Didn't work at all). After that came Adderall XR. This worked but peaked for 3 hours during the day and a higher dose didn't help things. Now I am trying regular Adderal which I have to take 2x daily and have noticed a huge increase in the amount of work I can get done.
So, 8 months after my initial diagnoses, I finally have something that works for me. Just have patience and (try) to read about organizational techniques that seem to work for ADD'ers. (I make lots of lists.):-)
Dang, I missed http://books.slashdot.org/comments.pl?sid=56022&ci d=5449064 so now I'm going to get a -1 redundant. Oh well, I guess I'm not as funny and original as I thought I was.
Unless, of course, you are considering going into the movie industry. THEN you get to chase down serial killers, fight evil corporations, and blow stuff up, like what you see in the movies...:-)
Yes, the other drive bay is meant for a zip drive ONLY. There is no way you can even attempt to put a CD-ROM drive in there. (trust me, I've looked into it, no amount of cutting would allow it to fit.) Thank goodness for firewire!
Another perk of the LCD is that it takes less electricity and generates less heat than its CRT counterpart. For this reason I will never buy another CRT ever again. My computer room has to have its own air conditioner running seperate from the house AC when my 19" monitor is on. Not so with my 22" Apple Studio Display. (It isn't just the 19" monitor creating the heat, but it is the 5 computers combined with the monitor that pushes it over the edge.)

Actually, Navteq appears to have a form you can use to submit errors in the map data:

That selfish bastard:

Damnit, this comment wasn't up when I started typing my comment. Oh well, mod me redundant. :)

Umm, the eMac is $799 and the iBook is $999. Both qualify as a sub-$1000 machine. :-)

I suppose it would be more comfortable; The microwaves would make the equipment feel warmer. :)

So good, in fact, that I don't need to read the book. Thanks James! :)

If you put a big magnet next to your screen, you'll have a beautiful array of colors with Pong! :-)
