    I learned C++ when the first affordable compilers became available for the PC, about 15 years ago. I even wrote a multitasking kernel using C++. Then I didn't use it for a long time. When I returned, it seemed Java had been developed and B.S. apparently revamped C++ to look more like Java.

    It's either Plain Old C, or so full of hacks and obfuscation that it was unreadable (or at least unfollowable). I mean, when you see 'friend' everywhere, that can't be a good sign.

    SIPs are basically styrofoam with plywood or OSB exteriors. Don't let them get too hot (i.e. like in a fire) or the foam will melt/burn/produce toxic fumes/etc.

    BTW, the article mentions this (i.e. the inflatable structures) won second place in a competition.

    I wonder what got first?

    Yeah, first he said she used her cell phone. When someone pointed out that wouldn't work he changed it to a collect call from an airphone, since she didn't have her purse. I don't know what his story changed to when someone pointed out that you need a credit card to get the phone out of the seatback.

    Let's see - my M-B ML320 battery went dead on a Saturday morning and I was without a car for 4 days. I replaced the battery immediately, and the car started up but it refused to accelerate. I had to have it towed to the dealer on Monday and got it back Tuesday afternoon.

    How far will you be able to drive when your Bose Suspension computer gets confused? Give me analog until they get right.

    I recently moved, and am now about 2 poles past the end of the TV cable. I haven't decided whether or not to get satellite (probably DirectTV if I do).
